we are following breaking news tonight out of kansas.. where authorities say four people including the gunman are dead after a series of attacks. police say 14 people were also hurt in the shootings at excel industries... a manufacturing plant where the gunman was employed. dan scheneman brings us the latest. dylan/shooting witness : "everybody said that there was gunshots, there was a shooter, and we just kept hearing pop pop." it was near the end of the work day when authorities in south central kansas were called to a shooting...a man driving a truck hit in the shoulder.... that was followed by a report of another attack at another location and then......word of an active shooter inside excel industries... sot jordan/employe e: "it didnt' matter who it was he had no specific target, he just... shooting anyone who got in his way." authorities say there were multiple fatalities and more injured.... donna / excel employee "just oh my god total shock just trying to get out of there and get help... there was a guy down and he needed help." outside the plant....relative s waited and worried. sot

the storm. colter -- how are people staying motivated and keeping going? thanks to volunteers like those here at evergreen baptist church, who are making sure those cleaning up from damage like this are getting all of the support that is coming in to them from the community. lory king/volunteer "it's been a bunch of blessings. we are overwhelmed all the gifts all the help all the volunteers." that overwhelming support is what allows lory king and the rest of the volunteers at evergreen baptist church to continue to help first responders and community members as they continue to clean up from the storm. stand up "take a look at this. this is just one of the incredible seems that remains from yesterday storm. this black car here is just completely smashed under the weight of this tree. a total loss. this truck here next to it, covered in mud the windshield completely shattered. but if you'll notice
