at les cheveux tonight. harrington was here as well continuing the work she's done since her daughters death more than 6 years ago. harrington started the organization after matthew allegedly murdered her she said she needed time before going on camera, but was the phone. she says finally closing the book on this case would be family. gil harrington, morgan harrington's mother - "we have spent six and a half years pushing the stone up the hill to find justice for morgan and anticipating another year's worth of motions hearings and a big trial was not something we've been looking forward to. we're getting tired." at this point the commonwealth's attorney isn't releasing any actual details of that plea agreement until matthew appears in court on wednesday. coming up on your wsls 10 at 11 ... we'll hear reaction from the family of alexis murphy who was killed in 20-13. her

working tirelessly since then to try and prevent these tragedies from ever happening again. in roanoke, rob manch wsls 10. roanoke county police identify the victim of friday's officer involved shooting. police say .. 18- year-old kionte spencer died after being shot twice. spencer was seen holding what we now know was a b-b gun. officers ordered spencer to drop the weapon. he refused and that's when two officers deployed their tasers. police say when that failed ... shots were fired. spencer was hit in the collarbone and hip. an internal investigation is underway to make sure police followed protocol. wsls 10's christina craig talked to spencer's brother and has more information. yes, i spoke with spencer's brother, carl spencer, earlier today. in fact, he was waiting right outside of the roanoke county public safety building after the news conference. spencer was hoping to find out more about his brother's death. he said they were close and talked about 4 times a week.

brother was just hours before the shooting. carl spencer, subject's brother - "that's what makes it so crazy. and, that's another reason why i came here, because this is not sitting right with me. i'll never be able to get over him until i find out what happened." spencer says his brother lived in an independent living program along garst mill road -- near where the shooting took place. prior to that, his brother says spencer grew up in foster care and was later moved to the group home. carl adds his brother was a junior at hidden valley high school, and had also attended northside high school. we reached out to roanoke county schools for comment. they couldn't say much at this time, but mentioned spencer was not in class last week. in studio, christina craig, wsls 10. an army staff sergeant admits to shooting his wife and three police officers over the weekend. that ... according to court records. ashley guindon ... one of the officers ... died from her injuries. she had just been sworn in and was working her first shift. 32-year-old ronald hamilton of woodbridge is charged with capital murder in guindon's

he also faces a murder charge in the shooting death of his wife. hamilton remains in jail without bond. the other two officers are expected to survive. meanwhile ... guindon's funeral is set to take place tomorrow in woodbridge. a danville man is in jail tonight in connection to a deadly shooting in north carolina. 26-year-old demetrius farmer faces first degree murder and kidnapping charges. he's the third person to face charges. farmer is being held at the danville city jail without bond. his arrest is in connection to the january shooting death of 32-year-old benjamin baker in rockingham county who failed to show up to work and was later found dead in his eden home. he'd been shot to death. 18-year-old daquarius martin of martinsville and zachary haley of axton are also charged. a word of caution tonight for anyone using home oxygen... a henry county man is lucky to be alive after he lit a cigarette while on home oxygen over the weekend ... causing his mobile home to

people acting the way that they are." trump claims there were 11 thousand people trying to attend today. that number has not been verified. tomorrow is super tuesday ... and voters in roanoke will be seeing a change. this is the first election that a new voter precinct realignment is in effect. at its highest level.. the city of roanoke was made up of thirty-two precincts. after the changes ... there are now just 21 precincts ... including seven new voting locations. the change is all in an effort to even out the precincts and cut down on the time that voters spend waiting in line at the polls. tomorrow morning polls across the state will open at six a-m. meanwhile in appomattox ... due to the damage at central baptist church following last weeks tornado .. the voting location for the "chap precinct" will be moved to friendship baptist church. any tornado victim who still needs a photo i-d can get a temporary one at the appomattox county registrar's office. for more information on where
