thanks for staying with us, i am erica bryant. this happened early this morning, during the weekend hosting the ciaa tournament. deshawn brown poke to neighbors who now have growing safety concerns. >> reporter: some of those residents told me they did not know what happened here, others could not believe it. it all happened this morning in front of the building which houses a condo, a restaurant, and also a hotel and police say suspects fired nearly 50 shots here, amazingly no one was hurt. >> 50 shots went off, 40, word is, i didn't hear a thing. >> the street at south caldwell is clear and the glass window has been replaced. for upresident, charley-- uptown resident, charley, he said safety has been shattered. >> i could have been here in the middle of the night and i could
