have been surrounding his rallies all weekend. from screaming and punching to police having to pepper spray large crowds. we're asking authorities what they are planning to do to keep the peace tomorrow when trump comes here. but first we are tracking rain around charlotte this midday. you are looking at the most powerful radar. you can see the rain moving through. i'm brittney johnson and i'm here in severe center 9. how much longer is this going to stick around? >> we'll track showers in and out of the afternoon today. could see an isolated storm as well so taking you through live doppler 9. we're dealing with light showers in and around the charlotte area. this will move off to the north ease. that will head towards mount holly by 12:06 and charlotte by around 12:12.

cleveland county north of shelby and spotty showers along i-4o closer to morgantown and moving off to the northeast. steadier rain along i-77 so you'll need to use the windshield wipers if you're heading out this afternoon. this is heading towards china grove in the next few minutes. light rain in the mountains and that is where we have seen a lot of rain since this morning. we continue to see the threat for showers in and out throughout the afternoon with the steadier rain on top of us right now. i'll take you through the rest of future cast to show you how long this will stick around. another unruly crowd, this is in kansas city missouri. that is officers pepper spraying the crowds. inside the crowd was mostly trump supporters but there were packs of trump haters too. kansas city police arrested

also yesterday in dayton, ohio, a demonstrator jumped over the barricade. hee rushed the stage that trump was on. you can see him jump there and trump's secret service quickly surrounded him. he was led away in handcuffs. trump is s going to start pressing charges. >> you know what? i am going to start pressing charges against these people. [applause] >> okay? then we won't have a problem. >> reporter: authorities charged four people after violent protests broke out at a trump rally friday night in chicago. you can see right there protestors and supporters clashing in the streets and inside the venue. four people are facing charges. they range from aggravated battery to resisting arrest. at least two police officers were injured. now, after all these problems, trump will be in hickory tomorrow morning ahead

there will be a vigil of a woman hit and killed. she ran in front of a car on west sugar creek road on wednesday. they say the driver tried to avoid hitting her. tonight the vigil is at 7:00 p.m. and will take place where the accident happened. earlier this week we broke down how many pedestrians were killed in 2015's in the carolinas. pedestrian deaths in south carolina are up 31% but in north carolina, the number is down 3%. the study found more than 2300 people on foot were killed in crashing during the first six months of 2015. a rock band leader is apologizing for claims he made about security the night of the paris terror attacks. the reason he said he felt uneasy that night. first, charlotte city council is set to vote on
