i was going the opposite way and i looked and i was like -- >> reporter: family members hoped and prayed for a miracle that tragic night but got the crushing news friday while at jackson memorial hospital. walker's injuries, as young and strong as he was, were too much to overcome. >> he responded to nothing they trd to do. they tried everything they try. just wasn't responding. >> i told him that i love him and i'll always love him and i'll keep his spirit and dreams alive. >> sheldon: the pain is unbearable for the family and felt by walker's football world, o. the ravens tweeted "we are grieving the loss of a special young man. r.i.p. trey walker." the minnesota vikings quarterback and feow northwestern senior high school bull teddy brbrgewater posted this .... today we lost more than an athlete. a brother, son, teammate, class mate, friend and young person.

positive can come out of miami northwestern and off 71st street. but on 75th street, thursday night's mishap has ended a local success story. and continues to cause a world of pain. and family members and friends of trey walker were expected to be here at 75th and 21st avenue to remember him@and have a memorial for him. we'll keep you posted as soon as that situation unfolds. we'll bring it to you. we can also tell you that there are members of the community out here on bikes. we're told that these guys are members of the bikes up, guns down movement. they got an adult back in the jeep there who is out here to remember tray walker as well and the woman who is involve indeed that accident was cooperating with police. the accident still under investigation. we're live in northwest
