one week ago today - a tornado tore through parts of virginia - bringing devastation to the small town of waverly. tonight - for the first time - we re hearing from the son of a man killed by the twister. newschannel three s margaret kavanagh is live in waverly with more. it )s obvious crews have been working very hard to clean up this entire area. we were here last week when there were piles of debris everywhere

when there are potentially dangerous weather systems headed this way. live in waverley at margaret kavanagh news channel 3 a volunteer - on his way to a hanover county polling place - died in a crash. deputies say 76- year-old malcolm gardner s car flipped several times yesterday, as he was on his way to work at a voting location in ashland. gardner was ejected from his car, and later died. friends say gardner was the type of man who lit up a room with laughter, and he will be greatly missed. according to a new study -- millions of students nationwide are paying for their tuition by selling themselves as sugar babies -- to older men and

here )s a heads up for folks on the peninsula. jefferson lab in newport news is expected to sound its tornado warning siren - around 10:30 friday morning. the siren is normally heard within a mile radius. but do not be alarmed -- this is only a routine testing. a virginia man pays close attention to the forecast. any slight panic. that )s because a pipe in his front yard is already causing major flooding - and no one would fix it. then he contacted candace burns with our sister station -

" hank says vdot agreed to come out an fix it.. crews even cut up his driveway to start the pipe replacement process... )they were really good to work with then, evidently something fell through the cracks...
