to ask us to do things, we get nervous. we go, "oh, jesus..." i mean, that's human nature. "oh, god, i can't do this." i mean, i wrestled -- i'm a christian, i'm a pastor. i was up in the balcony, and i was wrestling with the idea -- in fact, can i be honest with you? when the holy spirit said to me, "i want you to empty all the cash you have in your pocket," my immediate response was, "devil, you are a liar. get thee behind me, satan!" [laughter] that's human nature! when you hear a voice like that, that's got to be the devil! that can't be god! i mean, i said, "satan, rebuke you." glory to god. i mean, i just could not believe god would want me to empty my pocket and give it. i had over $300 in my wallet and i just came down and reluctantly -- i'm gonna be honest with you.

i came down and i gave it. i went back up there and i said, "lord, you know... that's all i have." and, "that's all i've got, god; i'm giving it. here's my first fruit, god -- take it, lord. i'm in need, lord." and i didn worry about it. went back to my hotel, flew out the next day, went back to fort lauderdale. true story. went back to fort lauderdale, i got a phone call from a gentleman. he said, "henry, how are you doing?" i said, "i'm doing fine, sir." he said, "you know, the lord would have me to call you and to find out if you need anything." and i said, "no, sir." because, you know, when you're broke, people have a tendency to be prideful. when you ain't got no money, somebody who's asking you, "do you want money?" no... i mean, i was like, "no, sir, i'm fine; i don't want anything." and with a voice, a strong voice, a demanding voice, he said, "sir, i'm gonna ask you for the last time...

don't waste my time. i know what god told me." whew! glory to god. it was as if god was saying, "you've got one last chance, now! this is your opportunity now! come on, now -- to believe me for something." i said, "sir, i'm gonna tell you, man, i need $478,000... i'm gonna need this in about five days, sir." he said, "okay, not a problem. what is your account number?" "what is my what?" he said, "what is your account number?" i was sitting in my ofce when i got the phone call... i pulled out my drawer, pulled out one of the statements -- the bank statements -- and i quickly read the number off to the man. now i'm gonna tell you the reason why i did that. because, when you have no money in your account, you give it to anybody. i mean, i was so broke, i said, "here, take it. it's all yours." see, when you've got money in your account, you don't give it

but when you're broke, you say, "here." glory to god. i gave that man that number so quick. in 48 hours, he wired to my account, $478,000. don't tell me god won't do it. i'm telling you. god is able, when you put your trust in him. when first fruit becomes first fruit. when you honor god with your substance. and what god is saying tyou right now: god is saying, "you don't have enough anyway." glory to god. you don't have enough anyway. so now it's an opportunity for you to use this ministry as a way sowing your seed. god is speaking to some of you right now. and he's saying, "you need to sow that seed today. you need to get to the phone, because, in 48 hours... you want god to turn your life around."

unchangeable law of faith is simply this: "faith requires corresponding action." you see, faith without works is dead. some of you, your faith is dead today, your family is destroyed and you need a financial miracle. well, i've got good news for you today -- that god wants to turn your li around. he wants to change things in your life. faith has to have corresponding action. not only do you believe gofor incredible things, and not only do you say, "lord, i'm seeking you first... i'm gonna build your kingdom first, i'm gonna make sure that i take care of your house." i take care of the preaching of the gospel around the world, but i have to have corresponding faith now, because, back then, those people in the bible had corresponding action. they did something in order to get something back from god. some people say, "well, i don't believe that gospel at, you know, you gotta do something to

everything, even your own salvation -- salvation is free, but it's not thrown at you. the bible says it is with the mouth confession is made. you believe in your heart and the turning away from sin. just saying, "lord, thank you for deliverance, thank you for salvation." and that's it. and think it in your mind, and don't say it and don't act it out -- it's not gonna give you salvation. come on, now -- you've got to act on your faith. whatever god asks you to do, he's always demanding of you corresponding action. another woman in my church, you know... she was a business owner and, finally one day, she decided she wanted to open up her marketing company. and it was going to need about $500,000 -- a half a million dollars -- in order to start up this marketing company. so what she did, in the time when the real estate market was doing well, just before 2008,

the equity of her home, and she took $500,000 out of her house and invested in the business. to make a long story short, she lost it all; lost the house, lost the business. i mean, it was devastating to her. and then she said, one day she was prayg, crying out to god -- lost everything. i mean, here it is: she was here, and now she finds herself at the bottom. and god posed a question to her; genesis 18:14, "is anything too hard for me?" and then he said to her, "what have you done for me lately?" she found out she had to repent because she found out, "my goodness, all these years, i've been trying to build my business and i have forgotten god. i wasn't going to church the way i should... i wasn even giving to god because i was so in my business and i lost it all." well you know what she did? she repented. she said, "god, please forgive me. i am so sorry that i've walked out of your will." angod did. and do you know what happened? a gentlemen in my church

they just started going out to restaurants and different places. and he kept asking her, "what's your dreams like? tell me -- tell me what you wanna be, what you wna do with life." and she said, "you know, bishop, i kind of was getting annoyed at this guy because, every date, this guy was asking me, 'what do you wanna do in life?' and i thought he had amnesia. i was like, 'am i gonna marry this fool? because he's gonna forget.'" because every date, he kept asking her and asking her: "what do you wanna be in life?" finally, he decided, "okay, i wanna marry you." so she said, "yes, iarried him." and she said, "the night of my honeymoon, pastor --" true story! the night of her honeymoon... she got t the bathroom, and before they sat on the bed -- and he said, "you know, thk you for making my life complete. all these 18 months of us dating, i kept asking you, 'what do you wanna be?'

you wrote the vision down. you made it plain to me..." and he handed her a check for $500,000 -- a half a million dollars! how'd you like to marry somebody like that? glory to god. a half a mi- one night! one night, god changed her life forever. somebody who's made a mistake. glory to god. i'm telling you, even if you've made a mistake, even if you walked out of the will of god; hadn't done right with god... today, god is giving you an opportunity to turn your life completely around. i'm telling you, if you believe -- what this woman did... she acted on her faith. when the man asked her, "what are your dreams like," she believed god, she repented, start giving unto god... and look what god did. god set her that one night,

anchanged her life forever. i am here today to tell you corresponding action will work in your life. when you speak faith, act upon it. when you say, "lord, i believe you for my healing," then you confess that andou walk around like you're healed. if you say, "lord, i believe that my financ will be turned around," then you start acting upon that and do what god tells you to do, and watch god turn your life around. can i tell you something tha took place in my personal life? some people will say, "well you just talked about the $478,000." well, i've got more, glory to god. because god is a god of more. here it is, man, i'm a young pastor, pastoring my church, and my church was growing. thousands would gather and i couldn't fit them in the building. and i said, "lord, what am i gonna do?" because, where there is a vision, there's always provision. and god said to me, "well, son, i want you to go buy a building." man, that building would seat 4,200 people -- a huge

it was owned by this big company in the world, who had lots of concerts and different things there. and nobody thought that any church would be able to purchase that building. in fact, the building was not up for sale. but god spoke to me. i called them up, they said, "we're not selling." four times, they told me, "we're not selling." but, finally -- because, listen, god is not a man that he should lie. but the fifth time, when i called, they said, "okay, we're ready to sell. okay, not a problem. you wanna buy it, sir?" i said, "yes, i'd like to buy it." because, again, my faith is god told me to go purchase that building. my faith is that i'm gonna get that building. then, the lord said to me, "son, here's what i want you to do... you're not gonna go to a bank, because a bank is not gonna lend you the money." i knew that. a bank was not gonna trust me, because a young church -- we couldn't do it. and the building was 8 million dollars; we got it down to 7.7, because they credited us $300,000 for the roof, because it needed to be repaired.

do i do? when you need 7.7 million dollars, and god says to you, "don't go to a bank..." your problem is, you're putting your trust in a system of the world, and it will fail you every time. some trust in chariots and horses, but today, god would have you to watch this program so he can change your life, where you can put your trust in him and him alone. god says, "don't go to a bank." i didn't go to a bank. i kept confessing, i kept believing... and here is where the test came: in the church's account, we only had $120,000 saved up -- that's all the money we had. how are you gonna pay a mortgage of 7.7 million dollars with only $120,000 in the bank? that's the kind of god we serve. the kind of god we serve, that works in what? impossible situations. i'm trying to build somebody's faith, here.

you, i trust you." i kept confessing that word. and the lord said to me again -- here comes god again, just like in tulsa, oklahoma, when he told me to give away my money -- god then said to me, true story, god said to me, "here's what i want you to do, henry... i want you to write 12 checks, 12 checks totaling $10,000 each, and i want you to give it away to churches and pastors in the community." oh, here we go again -- "the devil is a liar. i rebuke you, satan, in the name of jesus; this can't be god." how are you gonna tell me to wipe out my account, when i need 7.7 million dollars? you know what the lord told me? some of you may not believe this. the lord said to me: "henry, you don't have enough anyway. it's a seed. at you have in your hands is not enough. now, you can trust me, or u can keep what you got and see if that will bail you out."

but i had enough sense to know that if you put something in the hands of god, god will always multiply that which you have given him. man, i did that. i even gave it -- i mean, when the lord told me the names of the pastors to give, i was like, "no, god, he ain't getting nothing from me. i know he don't like me!" because, you see, god will let you do stuff you don't wanna do! i mean, i wrote it out and i reluctantly, i gave it away. glory to god. watch god now. glory to god. god then sent that same gentleman back in my life -- that same man who picked up the phone and called me. he called me one day, he said, "henry, i want to come down to fort lauderdale to check you out." i said, "come on, robert, come on." he came down to fort lauderdale, we walked around the building -- huge building. i mean, we walked around that building -- 49 acres. glory to god. and we looked at that place, and i told him, i said, "this is where the lord wants me to put this there and that there." and i was just telling him --

his wife and my wife... and then he said, "alright, let's pray." from where i come from and how i grew up in church... when you're believing god for 7.7 million dollars, you gotta go on 40 day fast, and you've got to grease everything- i mean, you need a gallon of olive oil. you grease the parking lot, you grease the light pole... you grease everything. but that man prayed the shortest prayer over a 7.7 million dollar need. he said, "lord, if this property belongs to henry and carol, then let it be. amen." see, because when you walk in the confidence of god... you fear nothing. and fear is coming off of somebody right now. i pray, in t name of jesus, that you're getting ready. and i want you to pick up that phone, because god is speaking to somebody. all you've got is $1,000.

anyway, to buy the house. you're trying to get in the apartment. you're trying to buy the house. that's not enough money anyway. you get to that phone, and you put that seed in the ground and watch god work it out. i gave away the $120,000 to pastors and churches. when that man prayed and left my property... the next day, he called me... and this was his words: he said, "henry, do you want me to wire the money to the same account you gave me?" "oh yes, sir. oh yes, sir. you still got the number? put it in there." in 48 hours again... 7.7 million dollars was wired to my account. no credit check. don't tell me -- god don't deal with credit; that's a system of the world. god don't care about your credit -- he cares about the heart.

believe? [applause] and if you do, i guarantee you... so you need to get to the phone right now, because i'm getting ready to pray for your family, i'm getting ready to pray for your business, i'm getting ready to pray for your situation right now. you've got to believe god. faith requires corresponding action. there was another lady in my church. i mean, you know, she was believing god. she was from another country and she came here and overstayed her time... and finally, she d an interview with the immigration department, and they said, "ma'am, you're going home; we're deporting you." she said -- oh, devastated. they gave her 30 days. first mistake they made. they gave her 30 days, andhey let her walk out of the building; praise god. they should have detained her. glory to god. they let her out. because, you see, people with faith... all we need is 30 seconds. all we need is just a little break to go and pray -- glory to god -- and begin to believe god.

they said, "we'll give you 30 days to move wityour family." well, when she walked out of that place, she went home, and she to me this to my face... she went home and she said, "now, god, you brought me to this country... i know i overstayed my time. and, god, i trust you. i believe that you have me and my family here for such a time as this, and i'm gonna trust you. they told us no, but you're gonna turn this thing around." she said she went and spokto her husband, and said, "look, god wants me to sow a seed." we were building a building at our church at the time -- our youth center -- and she said she gathered up $1,000. some people say, "what's up with this $1,000?" look at deuteronomy 1:11. the bible says that god -- when israel was at a place in their lives, when they needed increase... god said, "israel, i'll bless you 1,000 times more than you are." how would you like to be blessed 1,000 times more than you are? glory to god.

faith, man. this woman gathered $1,000 and she brought it and sowed it into the building fund. and she said, "god, look... i'm going home anyway. i don't have nothing. i'm gonna trust you. this is my last." she gave it. well, two days later... her husband went to the mailbox and he picked up the mail. he opened it, ran to his wife, and said, "honey, i don't understand this. the immigration department is saying that you have been approved. what?" so, immediately then, she looked again in the pile of mail and noticed there was another letter among the pile, and she opened it. her green card was in the mail. they told her a few weeks ago that it was denied. i am telling you -- when you put your faith in god, don't let anybody tell you otherwise. when you put your faith in god

word will work for you every time. what you need is to have corresponding action to your faith. put legs to your faith. believe that all things are possible. believe that god can open up the windows of heaven -- the floodgates of heaven -- and bless your life. finally, the third unchangeable law of faith is, "faith is now." faith is never later. faith can never be pushed back for tomorrow. you can't say, "well, i understand, henry, but i'm just gonna do it tomorrow." no, no, no. faith is now. somebody say "faith is now." >> audience: fth is now. >> you see, faith is never later. you see, putting your faith in the future will only delay, or even cancel, your harvest. yes. when you put faith on layaway, if you will, it will only cancel what god wants to bring in your life. hebrews 11:1 says, and i love it, one of my favorite scriptures, it says, "now faith is... now...

you have to believe god now. in your impossible situation you've got to believe god now. and when you believe god now -- watch this -- faith gives you a spirit where you believe god. you expect things to happen because, "now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." "substance of things hoped for." that word "hope" is talking about expectation. what faith does, if you put your faith now and say, "god, i believe you now, faith then gives you that expectation, gives you that willingness to believe that, "god, i'm expecting something to happen in my life." and right now i'm telling you, you can expect something good to happen in your life when you begin to trust god. when you begin to put your faith in god and believe his word. i have a gentleman at my church, you know, his marriage was totally torn apart. his wife had cheated on him and it was devastating to him and he just didn't want -- and he left the house and he

i'm fed up. i'm not gonna do anything more." in fact, he was at the point of committing suicide. i mean, his heart was broken. i prayed with him and i said, "sir, put your faith in there. i don't care what you're going through, you believe god now." i said, "do you believe god can change your situation around?" he said, "i believe but i don't want my marriage back. how dare her do that." and he was crushed; he was hurt. i didn't say anything. i just said, "let's just pray. let's see what god is up to. let's see if god wants to save your marriage. let's see if god wants to do something in your family." and we prayed. and he kept coming to church. he kepcoming to church because he placed his faith -- when we prayed, when we prayed a couple of weeks before -- he placed his faith at that time, but he kept coming. corresponding action. he kept going to church, he kept god. i was preaching one day about faith, family and finances, because i am huge on that.

have faith. and i believe so much in family. and i believe that you can increase financially. so, i was preaching that day and little did i know,oming down the aisle, both of them th tears in their eyes, holding hands, interrupting my message. you can interrupt my message any time with stuff like that. i mean, just came down. i stopped and i began to pray. and i watched one of the greatest miracles in my entire life, to literally see a wife sobbing on the shoulder of her husband and asking, before the whole church, "please forgive me." oh, i'm telling you, i'm telling you, when faith is now it will produce a harvest in your life. it will turn things around. and i'm telling you, somebody need to get to the phone right now and say, "pastor, i'm going to sow for evangelism. i'm going to give that seed of $1,000. why?

about to get pregnant. i'm about to be spiritually pregnant with something. i'm about to give birth to my miracles. you're looking at a gentlemen, when many years ago, doctors told carol and i, "you will never have kids. never have kids." well, whose report are you gonna believe? is there anything too hard for god? oh, doctors, i mean they told us, every doctor, "you are never gonna have kids. adopt." and for 16 years -- listen to me, ladies and gentlemen -- for 16 years of my marriage we could not have kids. 16 years. for 16 years i stood before my congregation, laying hands on people's children... christening their babies and couldn't have one of my own. i'll never forget. a couple came to us one night after the service, we didn't have kids d they said, "well, could you pray for us, pastor, so we get pregnant?" man, lay my hands on them, bam, she coming into the building a few months later with her belly out. i had to go in my office. "god, i got a problem here.

what's up with this? i lay my hands on people, they getting pregnant and my wife can't get pregnant." but my faith w now. i believe, even though the doctors said it was impossible, "you are never going to be a father," iut my faith in god and i said, "god, i believe your port." i kept on preaching. i kept on believing. and i'm telling you after 16 years my wife, just out of the ue, started complaining. i mean, we even thought she was just bloated, gas. you know? it's amazing what god will do in your life. he'll surprise you. i'm telling you, somebody's about to be surprised. god is about to bless you. we took her to the doctor's. we were completely shocked. listen, we were so discouraged for so many years that even when the doctors told us we didn't even believe it. god's about to change your life

16 years we had our first baby boy. nine pounds, eight ounces. somebody's about to get a big miracle. glory to god. whoo. sixteen months later... my wife gave birth to another big, nine pound, six ounces baby boy. i'm telling you. in fact, you know what? the blessings came in so much, shake down, pressed down, running over, when we t the second boy we had to go back to god and say, "god, shut it down. no more. we don't want no more." glory to god. how would you like to be blessed? where you got to go to god and say, "god, that's enough. i don't want anymore." somebody ought to give god a praise today. [applause] glory to god. now listen to me. i wanna build your faith today.

that you can now develop faith on your own. i wanna challenge you today. listen. if you can fix your problems don't even listen to me. if you've got another answer, if you've got a better solution don't even listen to me today. consider me a liar, then. consider me just one of them guys just trying to get your money. if you can help yourself then this is not for you. but if you are in need of a miracle in your life and you have nothing to lose -- your house is in foreclosure right now. now the woman at my church, house was in foreclosure. bank told her, "that's it. we're coming to take the house." her mortgage was $1,300 a month. the banks wouldn't work with her. she's got the foreclosure notice on her table and she was ready to pack her bags, but she walked in that house and she said, "no, i am not giving up what god gave me. devil, i'm taking my house back.

i offered the bank $500 and something per month; they refused it. now god, i put this house in your hands. you gave it to me and i trust you." well, the woman went doing her stuff and kept believing, kept sowing, kept giving, kept giving her tithe. that's one thing she said. she said, "when i get my pay check i have to give back to god." well, you know what? she went home one day and got a letter from the bank. and i'll tell you, it was chase bank. i'll tell you. i looked at the letter. she brought it to me. she was screaming. she said, "bishop, chase bank wrote me a letter. from $1,300 a month, they re-modified my loan to $88." $88. they wrote off 65% of her principle. 65%. i'm telling you, you are just one moment away from a breakthrough, but you've got to believe. you have got to put your faith into the now.

pick up the phone now and say, "i want a miracle." and i'm going to challenge you to sow that seed of $1,000. remember, you don't have enough anyway. you don't have enough anyway. i want you to believe god. take it from the savings account. put it on your credit card and say, "god, i am trusting you today. i am sowing this seed of $1,000 because i want a deuteronomy 1:11 blessing to overtake my life. i am believing you, god, that as i embrace the power of godly giving that you are going to bless my life, you are going to increase my faith. you are going to bless my relationship. you're going to bless my marriage. you're going to bless my children. you're gonna bless my house. you're going to save me from foreclosure. you're going to turn my finances around." i am telling you if you put your faith now, god will do it for you. but remember, you've got to act now.

the bank of america or the federal reserve can't help you. i'm telling you, they're in trouble. praise god. government can't help you. only jesus. glory to god. only the word of god. when you put your faith -- somebody's family's being torn apart right now. and i'm telling you it is your obedience today that is going to save you, that's going to deliver you, that's going to bring you into total fulfillment. total fulfillment. i wanna pray today that god will turn your life around. because he's doing it for others, he'll do the same for you if you would believe him, if you would trust him. somebody right now is getting off the bed right now and you're going to the telephone. do it. don't you let fear get into your heart. listen. when god presents to you an opportunity, the devil will always come in and he'll always cause you to believe, "well, that's not for me. maybe i can do it later."

blessings that's on other people's life, will also come upon you and you too canpe exrience the joy of knowing that jesus is a god that is still working miracles. i mean, if i had time man, i would tell you of so many testimonies of what god is doing in the lives of people. had a woman in my church, man, i mean, she had a bad leg and couldn't move it and just didn't know what -- the doctor said, "we've got to amputate the leg because you're gonna lose it," because she wa diabetic and so forth. well, she trusted god. and she said, "god, you're a god that you cannot lie. you said if i put my faith in you and put my trust in you, you'll give me the desires of my heart. god, i don't wanna lose my leg. i trust you, god. i trust you." well, that woman is walking around today. not only walking around and still got her leg, god healed her. she's no more diabetic. no more.

just go house shopping." because you see, faith doesn't require money; faith just requires you to believe god. so we didn't have the money. so i told my wife, i said, "it's not gonna hurt us. it's not gonna cost us anything. let's go and believe you, god, for the house that we need." we drove into this nice neighborhood. d we said, "lord, you know, this is nice." and we looked around and there were four models and we went into the first: smaller, medium and got into theargest one. i then walked around, i said, "honey, this is it." my wife said to me, "no baby, this can't be it. we don't have no money." i said, "honeycome on. you ain't got no money anyway, so if you're gonna believe just believe big." if you don't have any money and you're gonna walk in faith just believe big anyway. i said, "i don't want the smaller one; i want the gger one. i'm putting god to the test. i want the bigger one." true story. that day when we left that

believing you." i signed a check for $15,861. it's in one of my books. about $15,000 i signed the check for. put a deposit on the big model. but i was driving home scared to death. "i'm going to go to jail... because ain't no money in the bank." but i heard god say to me, "put me to the test." i gave it. because see, i was taking care of god's work: pastoring, doing the will of god. man, i got to church that night, it was a wednesday night and i'm sitting in the front row. i had a guest speaker, he's preaching and he's talking and i'm not hearing a thing. because i'm tellg you, when you're going through your problems you can go to church and you're not hearing the preacher. you just say, "lord, you'd better come help me. you'd better come bail me out." that's all i was doing. immediately the preacher said, "oh you know what? wait a minute." he walked down and walked right in front of me and he said, "henry, the lord wanted me to interrupt this service to be a blessing to you."

y'all love your pastor?" everybody shouted, "yes! we love our pastor!" he said, "well, i want you to bless him tonight." and i'm sitting in my front row and i'm saying, "yeah, y'all better bless me tonight. if there's ever a night i wanna be blessed it's tonight." i watched my members, came down and gave an offeng at the altar. they called me that night and said, astor, we wanna tell you how much we raised for you." i lie not to you today. they said, "pastor, we raised $15,800 and something dollars." to the penny. listen to me. to the penny. man, i said, "glory to god." i said, "in the morning i'll come to the office, i'll get it." glory to god. anthem checks had better clear. praise the lord. i gave it and deposited to my account. my check cleared. today, i am living in that same house. i had no money, but i had my right now faith and m living

the number is on the screen. and say, "look, i want to be --" i hear the holy spirit saying there's a thousand of you. there's 1,000 of you. right now you need to pick up the phone all over the world and say, "i'm gonna sow my seed of $1,000." that's it. 1,000. god says, ou do that, watch me bring on your life the blessings of deuteronomy 1:11." be a part of that number. you say, "henry... man, i wish i had $1,000 right now." maybe what you could do is pick up the phone and s, "i wanna sow $1,000. don't have all of it right now. here is $500. and i'll give the rest over a few months. here is $200..." but get the seed in the ground now! act upon it. it's an opportunity.

miracle, but oh, you take care of god's house -- whew! -- he'll build yours. when you pick up the phone and you say, "here's my best seed. preacher, i don't have much, but here my best seed." listen, i say to my congregation every week... it is not equal sacrifice. you may not be able to give $1,000. but it is a sacrifice by everybody. it's not equal amount... it's equal sacrifice. let me say that again. it's not about equal amount. you give $1,000; another person gives $500. but it's equal sacrifice. everybody's got to give, and when you give i'm so glad that god knows how to bless his people... god knows how to honor his people based on their faithfulness i grew up in an old pentecostal church. "great is your faithfulness."
