2:42 am
? doo-da-doo ? time to leave, turn around. i see hunk heaven in front of me. chris pratt, denzel, ethan hawke -- look what's happening -- and the film's director antoine fuqua. these guys are all -- >> "magnificent seven." >> yeah. isn't that crazy? i was scared to get into the picture. smiling, over here. maybe they'll notice me. then i just jumped in. i foun s look at you! chris pratt is one big stud. can you believe "parks & rec" and now he's just -- >> he is something, by the way. all right. will you update us on brangelina? >> yeah. the latest, source close to the los angeles county department of children and family services told nbc news that a child abuse allegation against brad has triggered a routine investigation. anytime they get a call, whether anonymous or not, they have to investigate. "people" magazine's editorial
2:43 am
that says the fight was really between brad and angelina and one of the kids somehow got involved in this. i can tell you i spoke with someone this morning working with brad and very close with brad and he's giving -- said two things. one, i don't want any comments from anyone connected to me that are disparaging of angelina, as mom, or anything like that. i want to keep -- he would love very much to keep all of this as private as possible. of course, that's not happening. but also he made -- stressed the point that nothing physical >> from his side. but you get a call, you get a call. and this -- you know, the fbi is gathering information now. haven't launched an investigation. but gathering information, deciding whether or not to. because air space on a special aircraft like this is under fbi jurisdiction. he did touch down in minnesota, which would lead you to believe they're not fueling up. it's a big plane. >> interesting. when you think about -- i know that it's routine if something does happen in the air the fbi
2:44 am
to do, might even be glancing in that direction. but also according to "people" magazine pitt admits he was inebriated during that encounter and a source close to them says they have not spoken since their split. >> sad. >> it is sad for the whole thing. the kids, everything. but hopeful -- >> no one knows exactly what's -- you know what's funny, i said earlier, we're in the news business, so we gather information. but you know, if there's not much information to gather, that hopefully they can keep it as quiet as possible and no one's engaging in a, you know, let's get ahead of this story kind of tactic here. >> i think sometimes when there is a vacuum, when no one's talking, either the story dies down, or so much speculation gets tossed around. it's one of those weird things. it either goes one way or the other. we did reach out to pitt and jolie's camps about the allegation of child abuse and we haven't heard back on that. >> it's for the well-being of the children, everyone says
2:45 am
what's really in their best interest is this story and sources close to each one of them not really saying anything. that is in the best interests of the children. speaking of chris pratt a second ago. you saw him. it's obviously very different. but he had a great comment recently about late-night arguments between spouses and lovers, a lover's quarrel, and he says, you know the old expression don't go to bed mad? >> yeah. >> i'm not so sure. if you just strictly adhere t you might rush into a resolution and it might not be the right resolution. it might be a form of sweeping it under the carpet. he says you can go to bed mad, that's fine. however, under the covers maybe a little toe touch. the toe goes over and touches the other toe. of you know, a beautiful lady and says, we'll deal with this later, yeah? we're good. >> what if the lady does the old kick the toe back? kick toe. >> oh, she moves it back? >> she moves you away, and rolls
2:46 am
look at all the girls. you see? we've done the kick toe. >> what if she doesn't kick the toe back and kind of maybe circles her toe around your toe? >> if you get the toe linkage, that's awesome, but more people are thinking that there is a kick toe -- >> oh, no. >> the kick toe is winning out. >> i'm going to say never had a kick toe and that would be lying. ye i've had a few kick toes. yeah. >> all right. so you guys, kathie lee by the way going to be at the greenwich food and -- wine and food festival. it's one of those great events they have in greenwich. >> surprise, surprise. >> she's going to have her stuff there. it's going to benefit paul newman's the hole in the wall gang club, and she'll be at the tasting tent from saturday at -- from 1:30 to 3:30. >> i'm going to show up at 3:30 to help her get out of the tent.
