welcome back our tour of continues as a look inside a new piles studio. >> anna stamas and jane rumack have recently opened precision pilates close to mayfair mall. they join us tk more about it. great to seeou ladies. >> thank you for being here. >> thanks so much. >> they say pilates is about stretch, strength and core. really your focus is those three things right? >> right stretch, strength and control. >> control you need to have the mind body control because you have, it's very involved in
9:23 am
mind to move your body. >> so kind of thatocus control not core. 's really getting that focus right is a big part of getting thmost out of the stretch and the strength that you are trying to build. >> right the core is involved. but the control is definitely needed. >> uh-huh. >> we talk about the control being more your power house and that is not just yr stomach, but also goes down int your ttom and your >> uh-huh. >> and all of the way up. pilates, but i haven't used the equipment before. a lot of people talk about that changing their whole fitness routine. you have a lot of the specialized apparatuses right? >> we have a majority of it there is only a few we don't. it makes it that much more individualized. for more fun not just doing the.
9:24 am
corol comes from controlling the springs back together. that's where you have to feel like you are really using your core as far as the springs together and worki the springs and that's having that resistance also helps. that'nt part of what you do. we were looking at pictures inside your studiond that equipment, the apparatus that you use reallyel people achieve the goals of pilates right? >>? it's a full god workout -- body workout and it's workout for somebody who has never examiner exercisedin their life and somet nts to change their normal gym workout to finding a different way where you hav engage your mind. >> like tt you mentioned if you can do.t is still something
9:25 am
pictes can it feel intimidating. that's why you emphasize pri lessons first to go be comfortable with the equipment and learn where your is at and probably judge how flexible you are. >> it's s important to start individually. get to see the client where they are going to need more work. how we're able to help them strengthen, where they need it where they have a weakens. that's why -- go go ahead. >> that's why we work with a lot of pt's and phy and when they have issue ifou bad wn youor a l o times relyear that pilates -- >> everybody talks about thatba foks. and strengthening the core and the muscles around the core. lows you tlleviate the pain and just strengthen everythg and work o yr sture which is huge the wayeople are like thisll t te. we work on you know really
9:26 am
important because if you look at the apparatus, they are very involved and you just can't go in there and out and d it on your own you hav to be thinking about what you're doing and having us kind you the whole te and telling you how you need tok wppat. the form i'ms key. and yo mentioned you workh physical chiropractors as well as. along with privatess also often duets and you he mat andower classes right? >> yes. we prefer to see the people oup them with people at the can same lel or maybe some pple that have the same sort of sues then the can work together and it's easier to watchm together tha you know, in like two or three. if you looktower csses

than that. >> right. there make sure you have the right form. there wee very hands on to makeure our trainings0& suchate all kinf i everything and that t way, having a smaller group setting unlike what you see in a lot of the gyms even though you're in a group setting you're still getting very individualized very small. >> i like that you mentioned your training as well. you have over 800 hours of aing that' woure able to work with phy tcal therapists and people at that level and really make sure everybody is doing it safely and effectively so they get the maximum results. i think that's what really people want when they come to pilates. they want something different than the regular fitness routine or ther t gym. they really want something specialized th is gngo change their body and i know from all of my friends that have

welcome back to the morning blend. will andat planning even divorce can sound a bit scary, t you need to protect yrself and your family. >> our tour of tosa continues with william block of block legal services llc welcome to the morning blend. than for being here. let's talk about you first and what kind of law you practice? >> like you mentioned i do estate planning. i also do probate which is the
9:32 am
everything prepared ahead of time. probate and estate administration is helping figure out things after the fact and i also do divorce. >> those are all connected right? how do they connect for you a have things in common? >> for me kind of the common point between all of them is that they all deal with families that are kind of going through a really hard time. the process after someone has died a lot of t family is in turmoil from that. the sam kind of sensitivities about the emotions and the divorce as well. one of the reasons i like to bring estate planning into that it is one of the areas you can do preventive work. one of the few areas where not something bad has already happened. we know something is going to come up in the future let's make sure things go smoothly for them. >> do you feel like you practice law differently than some other attorneys? >> i do. i think there is a couple ways i'm different. i started my own firm approximate a year ago here. one of the nice things about
9:33 am
good technology out there. i didn't have to convert 20 or 30 years of backlogs of case files into a new system. i could start fresh. that means most of my practice is paperless. he send out all of my invoices and everything by email. that i really try to take advantage of good tecology to make things more convenient for clients. i think another way i'm different is that a lot of my training in law school was based on dispute resolution and mediation. part of what i try to do practice is really listen to what conflicts there are. when you really startg attention to notwu what pe y ty a asking it, sometimes can you find good solutions that wouldn't be they sai up front.ust heard wt >> y talked aboutpute( resolution and mediation in reprenting clit o is are going through a divorce. do youimes set work with mehat process? >> absolutely.ere is a whole are lled collaborative divorce i'm a b fan of.
9:34 am
problyor? more% of divorce d in a settlement agreement. the collaborative process is aimed towards that ingredient. agreement the cratiolbo processort of assumes from the beginning everything is going to b settl and they put steps in place to make sure the process goes smoothly >> i think that is so good that you talk about sti such a tough time foreople.whato needs an estate plan? >> one ofhe thingsut estate plans, wheny the think ou ty thinkbout a will. a g estate plan deals wh a whole lot more than that. so, a good estate plan will deal with what happens if you become incapacitated during you fe if there is dementia or you get in a car accident. protection is in plao;e make
9:35 am
still take care of you and everything wl be taken ce of. because of all of the pieces, it is hard for me to think of anybodyhat couldn't benefit from having one in place. there are some people that say i don't have kids i don't need one. in my opinion people that don't have kids need one even more. the laws in wisconsin say what is going to happen to your property if you don't have a will or estate plan, but they work best t psumptis work best for people with traditraditional family structu. if you a in a partnerip, but situatns are morequ these state laprobably doesn't deal py would want idealt with.>> oes thewi a& appointing aower o attorney or are those separate ings? >> whe i d an estate plan i do f heteps in eplan usually i

very common document that people use. >> i like that idea. >> revokable trust. [laughter] >> noou don't get it. ne of the ways that one o theres a lost different thingss that can be done with it and everything is dea wit inne place. i like using them, but there is a lot ofechniques that can be used. >> tre is it a lot of peacef mind that comes with estate planning and doing the important things are you talking about. i think it is wonderful you help people with this you have to prepare for the unexpected. right now if people call block legal services get in touch with you and mention the morning blend they will get 10% off the complete estate package which can be worth more than $200. mention the morning blend. you can find out more by going to block legal services.com. their offices are in wauwatosa. >> thank you very much.
