milwaukee police tell us this morning that they are still looking for the person who shot and killed a 15-year-old girl on the city's the shooting happened yesterday evening.this morning, ann sterling joins us live from john marshall high school where the teen was a student. family members say melanie johnson was a good kid and she on track to graduate from john marshall high school early. the 15r yesterday evening-- shot inside her home... and right now police are trying to figure out who did this,the shooting happened just before 6 p.m. at 35th and silver spring drive.police say shots were fired from outside the family home and right now -- they don't know if the teen was at the wrong place -- at the wrong time. but -- they are investigating if there was a car involved and if someone was targeting the teen. the teens family is sending

the county board of supervisors is considering a policy change after recent deaths at the county jail. the change would require outside investigations for in-custody deaths. the board will vote on the change thursday.four people have died at the milwaukee county jail this year. just into our news room... major league baseball is planning to ban bullying and hazing. it's part of a new collective bargaining agreement between players an the proposal specifically focuses on initiation rituals including making rookies dress up as women... something many teams take part in. other hazing acts that have been banned include making players consume alcohol, drugs or "undesirable unwanted substances. it's important to note... not all initiation rituals are banned... only ones the league deems dangerous or offensive. things are looking up in the milwaukee housing market.for the fourth consecutive month,
