two tornadoes left this sarasota woman trapped. the walls and roof of the second floor of her home came crashing down. sarasota newsroom reporter isabel mascarenas brings the trying experience of the people who rescued her. >> doesn't look like the same has. >> reporter: nancy devito had seen pictures but nothing compares to seeing in person what is left of her home along sarasota bay. way. >> reporter: when the f2 tornado struck sunday morning, it kept nancy under the roof near her bedroom door. >> and i'm on the floor in the dark. can't move. it was terrifying i thought i was going to die. >> reporter: nancy laid in an exposed. >> i started screaming and yelling. >> reporter: firefighter steven

seeing 40 show up. we'll see a lot more in the next couple hours. gorgeous sunset going on as the temperature plummets, that's part of the reason they will do so so quickly. blue skies and light winds will allow for whatever heat we got to rapidly escape. freeze warning, citrus, hernando and inland pasco county, us 19 would be a good barrier to gauge who is in and who is out. us 19 and east will be in the freeze warning. coastal pasco, not in it but doesn't downplay. that's more of a heads up for those trying to take care of anything that might be sensitive to the freeze mark. as to who will see it, usually a freeze warning means you can get there for a couple if not a morning. 45 in jacksonville, 49 in melbourne, straight east of us, to the atlantic side, 49 also in orlando, then interesting is the dew points, to see them in teens in jacksonville, very

every now and then we do, but not many days in the year we have dew points so low as we head into the overnight hours. so as those temperatures tumble from the 50 degree mark in tampa right now, see you again at 11:00, i would expect mid 40s if not low 40s and our wake- up temperature should be right around 39 degrees in tampa. let's take you step-by-step where you live. looking at around 35 in brandon, 39 around the airport, closer to downtown, 38 degrees, on the pinellas side of the bay, central to northern pinellas, 38, 39. should be about right for daybreak temperatures. seminole, largo, south to st. pete, 40, 41. more common as we head through the sunrise hours. so around 32 in dade city, 32 in brooksville, low 30s and if

entirely possible. 44 in bradenton and sarasota, look for about 44 to 46, lake wales and haines city. after the first couple hours of the day, another gorgeous looking day, but should feel not all that bad honestly. mid 60s and light winds, beautiful sunny skies, should be pretty nice for mid-to-late january for us here, high temperatures from north to south, low 60s around crystal river, most of us for brooksville to sarasota over to lakeland, 66 to 68 degrees for our high temperature. northeast winds back and forth between five and 15 knots. moderate chop on the day. high tide around 12. you probably heard us talk about another round of storms. i'm actually tracking two more rounds of storms in the next week. also put in perspective given everything we've gone to the

the warm up thursday and friday, that system on friday a lot less likely to produce any concerns for severe weather. the main reason, the main driver of this, sunday's storm system had a low down here in the gulf coast tracking across the state. with this low between atlanta and knoxville, tennessee, that is where we will see the stronger energy across south carolina and georgia. so storms and rain friday, yes. midday, severe weather, the threat not near as likely. it's the one behind that, that's a week away, today is tuesday, seven, eight days away. that one is setting up more similar and the threat of severe weather would be possible. but perspective again, 7 to 8 days, a lot of time to watch it. and see how this will play out and what we will be seeing, something to get on your radar to keep tracking.
