strong winds ripped the top off an 18 wheeler on the interstate and tossed it to its side. the good news is that the drive is okay. and a driver was on his way to work when a metal sign hit the top of his car. strong winds sheared roofs off buildings. and this is called fancy driving but most of you know as doing donuts. teens are not doing them in empty parking lots or fields anymore. they have moved to busy roads. this is how social media helped scratch a group of teens in pinellas park. >> reporter: nothing wrong with going out for a spin, just not like. this a snapchat caught kids doing donuts in busy traffic. luckily, nobody collided with them but they didn't have a clean getaway.

we take that extremely seriously here. >> complaints sent in by the public are typically investigated within 48 hours. during the inspection, many violations are reinspected on the spot. >> i know for a fact that the state only has so many inspectors. they only inspect these facilities every so often whether it be quarterly. sometimes, it's only twice a year. a lot of things can happen in that amount of time. >> fewer than 200 inspectors are in charge of visiting all of florida's 48,000 restaurants. >> they just can't catch all the problems. to me, if consumers can be the eyes and ears for the state to keep these restaurants on their toes and keep them in compliance, then, yeah, it's very important. >> reporter: we posted a link directly to the complaint form on our website at wtsp.com/restaurantalert.

if you lived here through forest fires season, you know this is a blessing. without severe weather, that's win-win all around for everybody. the same line produced tornadoes in miami. a tornado warning in brevard county about 5:00 this morning. of course, the one up in the panhandle that was one of the bigger ones for the year. the the cold front is now down around the straits, south of the key. yes, we are cooling off. the air is drying out and it's little cooler, 46 in chris call river, 56 in tampa. if you look up stream, temperatures are similar, if not a little warmer in some places. no real cold behind this punch that moved through with the storm. while the mornings will have lower humidity, that's going to allow the temperatures to be a little bit cooler than the last couple of days. afternoons will not be. we'll actually start a warming trends. tonight, 49 in brooksville, 58
