. ten news at 11 starts right now. good evening, i'm tammy. first tonight, big news in the 2016 race for the white house. former florida governor jeb bush is throwing in the towel ending his presidential campaign. >> i'm proud of the campaign we've run to unify our country. and to advocate conserve solutions that would give more americans opportunity to rise up and reach their god given potential. but the people of iowa, south carolina and new hampshire have spoken.

>> jeb bush made that announcement after receiving only 8 percent of the votes. the son of previous president bush enters the race with high recognition and money. the former governor out of office. appeared to struggle and became a target for donald trump who called him a low energy candidate. donald trump is holding onto his lead. this comes after his victory in new hampshire earlier this month and second place finish in the iowa caucuses. on the democratic side now, hillary clinton is touting her victory over bernie sanders. she now has momentum heading into the primary next week. so what happens next? programs the biggest test will take place on march 1st. that's when 12 states most of them in the south vote on what's

category 5 hurricane. tonight the government is still assessing the damage. out in the community for an important event. the second annual celebration of education gala was held. i was honored to serve as one of the mc's. the event was to honor one of our outstanding educators and support staff who make a huge difference in the lives of our young people. this year's outstanding educator of the year is christina here in the red dress featured with her principal. and tonight, flowers was on hand for the tenth annual college bound event hosed by the community college. we got a chance to sit down one on one with a retired nfl great of the dallas cowboys.

space craft crashed and killed one of the test pilots. >> when i saw it for the first time last night, it brought an immediate lump to my throat and tears to my eyes. >>reporter: this latest model -- with the help of branson's granddaughter and milk bottle could be the first to fly tourises into space. >> we're opening space to all walks of life. >>reporter: it looks nearly toilet their original spacecraft that crashed during october #146r7b8g9 during a test flight killing one of the pilots. branson questioned whether they should carry on, but they picked themselves up. engineers say the space craft has new safety measures in place. it seats 6 passengers and can fly 62 miles above earth.

and we're going to see these winds on the light side as we head into sunday. so we have an area of pressure heading into the sunshine state and portions into the golf of mexico. and with that pressure right overhead, typically that results in light winds and that is what we will see on sunday. so temperatures dropping a few degrees from where they are right now. 6:carolwood. 54 degrees in sarasota. i do want to warn you. patchy fog for areas east of the 75. a little low level moisture especially for our inland zone off the atlantic. the low fog should burn off by 10:00 a.m.. and then heading into the afternoon, temps 3 degrees above

so once in a while, you might see some filtered sunshine rather than the brilliant sunshine. but overall, a nice day. 79 degrees in dade city. and a little bit cooler along the shore and coast. 79 degrees, 74 and 80 degrees. 79 lakeland and poke city. starting for your sunday, wins calm, clear skies. as we head into the early morning hours and late afternoon, we're going to see a little onshore flow at the cosin and a little weak season setting up. certainly no rain on sunday but just a few high level clouds. temperatures mild again sunday night as we head into monday.

is depreciate finally tonight, a couple has been reunited with a wedding ring they lost thanks to an oregon woman. this couple went on a trip to hawaii and david lost his ring while snorkeling. luckily a woman from oregon found the ring a year later and thank to a social media campaign, the couple was able to get the ring back. final look at weather? yes. it's going to be nice. we are in store for more sunshine.
