up this morning...we have an important story for parents. do you know what's on your child's cell phone? several lake placid middle school students are under investigation for taking or sharing sexual images. they're so graphic-- the principal tells 10 news reporter kendra conlon-- it's prompting an emergency meeting with parents. principal chris doty says the sexually explicit shots - surfaced on several

phones... earlier this month at lake placid middle school... uncovering a sexting scandal. it certainly shocks parents of the 6th phones... earlier this month at lake placid middle school... uncovering a sexting scandal. it certainly shocks parents of the 6th through 8th graders... who packed this meeting to learn more. the pincipal tells me 11 students have been disciplined for taking or sharing the naked pictures or the sex act on video. right now, investigators are scouring 9 seized phones. sheriff susan benton says sexting is illegal - and students could face a fine - even a felony. the special victims unit is investigating... if anyone caught on camera - is a victim of child pornography

exploitation. during the investigation, the school discovered 20 other students have taken and sent racy pictures - and shared them off campus. those parents and the kids aren't in trouble - at least with the district. serious sexting. in lake placid, kendra conlon, 10news wtsp statistics show 39 percent of teenagers admit to percent of sexting. head to wtsp dot com for resources about how to talk with your child...as well as social media apps to monitor their phones. right now... the takata airbag recall may expand to another 90-million vehicles. safety regulators are considering the expanded recall because the airbags may endanger drivers. that would nearly triple the 29 million inflators recalled so far. in all, as many as 120 million takata inflators in u.s. vehicles contain the

nitrate -- used in inflators that automakers have recalled. that's according to a reuters report. the airbags have been linked to nine deaths in the u.s. a community in michigan came together monday night to remember the victims of saturday's mass shootings. mourners gathered in kalamazoo for an interfaith service. 45-year-old jason dalton is charged with six counts of murder after authorities say he went on a shooting rampage. he is in jail without bond. dramatic video of a shoplifter being taken down by a pasco county sheriffs deputy. we first began looking into this after a viewer sent us this video. the suspect -- tiffany tebo -- was approached by the deputy friday afternoon outside of a bealls department store. he asked her to put her hands behind her back. she did not, but instead asked to pay for the stolen merchandise. then the deputy forced her to the ground. she says the arrest left her injured and bruised around her neck. pasco county sheriff chris nocco stands by the deputies actions --

self-defense. he's being held on attempted murder charges. federal officials are investigating the deaths of 13- bald eagles. they were discovered on a farm in maryland over the weekend. the man who owns the farm says he was looking for fallen deer antlers when he came across four of the dead eagles and called police. the u-s fish and wildlife agency is now investigating. officials haven't said yet, if the eagles were killed intentionally. disgruntled drivers with a popular ridesharing company are trying something new. they are creating a new ridesharing company. 10 news reporter jonathan petramala shows us how it works. uber and lyft will soon be sharing the road in tampa with someone else. a ridesharing app under development in tampa by former uber driver marcus carter. drivers like chris lothridge are ready to turn to this new app because they are

wtsp. tampa is the second busiest city in florida when it comes to ridesharing transactions according to an expense reporting software company. drive society is hoping to start picking up passengers as early as this summer. "goody goody" was once one of tampa's best known landmarks and drive-in restaurants. it closed down in 2005. but now it's months away from opening in a new location, with a new owner. and it's starting to take shape. the sign went up yesterday. the new goody goody is located in hyde park on swann avenue. the original restaurant opened in the 30's. it was known for its special sauce on its burgers and its pies. onwer richard gonzmart bought the recipes for both. the burger joint is working towards a "may-ish" opening according to its facebook page. coming up at 5 on 10 news this morning..the pentagon's plans for closing the detention center at guantanamo bay, cuba is expected to be delivered to congress today. ## drivers in hawaii are keeping a close eye on the waves as they get bigger and
