half people hit the ball parks for spring training last year. we're just one week in... and already there have been two incidents involving bats flying into the stands. one at champion stadium at disney and the other at florida auto exchange stadium in dunedin. as 10 news reporter jonathan petramala shows you the "danger zone" has some people looking to change the landscape. one of the best plays at spring training belongs to this dad...who reached out just in time to stop a bat from bashing his son's

been so lucky, like a fan in dunedin today. a 59-year-old woman was rushed to the hospital after being hit in the head by a broken bat you can even see this 8-year-old fan holding a phone. he and his dad say they had been looking at pictures to send to his mom the back of ticket stubs and some signs warn fans of the dangers of flying bats and balls, but major league baseball has asked all teams to extend netting beyond the backstop and up the baseline that hasn't happened yet at many spring training facilities so fans not paying attention have a chance of being hit hard in dunedin, jonathan petramala, 10 news wtsp. right now-- erin

the community for their support in her stalker case. in a statement on twitter-- andrews gave thanks for the support of other victims-- saying "their outreach has helped me be able to stand up and hold accountable those whose job it is to protect everyone's safety, security and privacy." a jury awarded her 55 million dollars in damages. that money will come from two parties -- the man who created secret nude recordings and the owner and operators of the hotel where it happened. hulk hogan will be back on the stand first thing this morning -- as gawker attorneys continue their cross- examination. hogan got emotional-- testifying about the sex tape of him with his best friend "bubba the love sponge's wife". it was posted on gawker for the world to see. hogan said he

in june, padi bit a 4 year old boy in the ear at her owner's pet clinic and was nearly euthanized. is still recovering, from a horse and now, her mom is demanding answers stables aren't really regulated. happened at turkey month. the same spot in horse crushed a 3- year old boy to death more than a decade ago. this morning, 10news reporter kendra conlon uncovers... unregulated rides... in a story you'll see only on 10. badly scraped up and bruised. some of 13 year old kayleigh d'angelo's injuries - after being bucked off a horse here at turkey creek stables. she'd been with a group of friends and one of their parents - and claims she tried to voice concerns about her unruly horse. and it did... first the other girl's mom got tossed...
