lanes of the gandy bridge are still closed this morning after a deadly crash sunday night. the crash involved a motorcycle and a car. we don't know right now what led up to the crash. traffic into tampa was bridge. florida is already bursting at the seams with thousands of new people moving here every year. if amendment 2 passes in november, that number could grow even more. 10 news reporter jonathan petramala introduces you to one family already packing their bags. for rose terlaje, the upcoming vote on amendment two

white issue. it's more black and blue. s her 8-year-old son antonio has hurt himself since he was 18 months old. until last january when antonio began taking high thc cannabis oil but even with so much riding on florida's medical terlaje, she won't be voting for it.because she lives in georgia realtor bobby poth agrees. his research showed after colorado legalized marijuana, property values in some

10 percent. but whether or not terlaje becomes a florida resident, depends on florida voters november 8th. in st petersburg, jonathan petramala, 10 news wtsp. two years ago you might remember, amendment two didn't pass with the required 60 percent of the vote. it received just 58 percent support. saying goodbye with one last ride. on sunday tow truck drivers gathered to pay respects to a fellow driver who was hit and killed by a suspected drunk driver. dozens of tow truck drivers lined up for a procession to honor their fallen brother troy mcguire. they rode south on interstate-75, passing the very area where mcguire was responding to a call when he was killed. back during the early morning hours of october 9th, mcguire was towing a vehicle when investigators say a man under the influence slammed into him. those who knew mcguire are still coping with the crash and say it was 100-percent preventable.

the tow truck drivers had a strong message: they want you to follow the move over law. it's not just for cops and ambulances. you must move over for any stopped emergency vehicle on the road. but more importantly, they say, don't drink and drive. a crime alert in manatee county this morning. in at a popular shopping center. deputies say four men wearing halloween masks broke into this puma store at ellenton premium outlets mall. it happened early sunday morning. the group ran in and out. they were only there for a minute, grabbing and taking off with as many shoes and clothes as they could. florida could once again be the deciding factor in the presidential election. on sunday, donald trump spent the day campaigning in naples. hillary clinton was in north carolina. but her heavy hitters: running

president bill clinton, spent the weekend drumming up support all the way from the panhandle to gainesville. reporter brook silva-braga shows you which candidate has the edge in the polls. long lines of early voters formed in nevada this weekend. with democrats far outnumbering republicans in the first day of early voting there. that's good news for hillary clinton... who also leads donald trump by 12 points in new national poll. at a rally in north carolina, clinton criticized her opponeor calling the election rigged. he refused to say that he would respect the results of this election and that's a threat to democracy on face the nation, rnc chairman reince priebus defended trump priebus: if you lose by 200 votes in florida are you going to concede on election night? dickerson: but reserving options is different than saying it's going to be stolen priebus: that how i say it. dickerson: the

voting sites. mail in ballots have been pouring in all weekend. more than 37 percent of them have already been returned. cheryl greene don't forget to bring your photo id with you. there's nothing wrong with taking a selfie. but there could be something wrong with taking a selfie with your ballots and posting it on social media. in many states, you're not allow with a ballot that's filled out. the laws are mixed depending on where you go. federal judges have struck down bans on ballot selfies in states like new hampshire and indiana. but, right here in florida, it could get you in trouble. jason latimer the spokesperson said

this morning investigators are trying to figure out what caused a horrific crash in southern california. a tour bus slammed into an 18-wheeler sunday morning. 13 people were killed and at least 31 were hurt. a survivor told police most of the passengers were sleeping at the time of the crash. we've learned the bus was returning from a casino. nearly 20- thousand dollars has been raised to help replace a memorial for a young boy who's murder helped rally the civil rights movement. someone shot up the sign placed at the site where emmett ts mississippi. till was just 14 years old when he was kidnapped and brutally killed in 1955 after witnesses say he whistled at a white woman. his accused killers were found not guilty by a jury of their all-white peers. the group raising money to replace the sign plans to develop a smartphone app to connect it with other historical sites. incredible video off the coast of miami beach: a group of boaters came face-to-face with this giant whale shark. whale sharks are the largest fish in the world and

it's not uncommon for autistic kids to flap their hands. and so when i saw that, that was completely disqualifying. i'm a republican, but this election is so much bigger than party. my son max can't live in trump world. i don't always agree with her, but she's reasonable. and she's smart. she can work with people to solve problems. i want to be able to tell my kids that i did the right thing when it really mattered.
