we're looking great. we've got clear skies obviously dry on the radar. some high clouds that are streaming in from the west/southwest. the wind out of the surface is out of the east/northeast. but that's not bringing much in. pretty nice afternoon. it's a little bit warmer out there. low 80s today. still there from brooksville to land o lakes to carowinds. 83 for sarasota. lake land in the low 80s. and venice is at 80 degrees right coming by. this is the view you can see them in the distance at saint pete beach it's going to be a gorgeous sunset out there. the high clouds pull out the color of the sunset. if they're thin enough. get your cameras ready. there are the winds. they're not up now. but they will be picking up as we get into tonight and tomorrow. especially tomorrow afternoon. but we're only talking about 15 to 20 miles per hour. but to be out of the east and

up. i'll have that forecast for you too. but that's a warm wind. dew points are coming up but going to be in the low to mid 60s. that brings the over night lows up. and with that warm wind coming across the state each day, we get warmer in the afternoons as well too. look at tomorrow morning, 65 degrees for a low. i'm thinking 60 to 65. the warmest spots along the water. tomorrow's forecast is a lot like today. we'll keep a little breeze out there. that will be the one difference. but other than that, we'll see a lot of from the west as well. just like we saw today. but i don't think we'll see any rain. less than 10%. i don't have it on the seven- day tomorrow. but it'll warm up. today, 80. that's all we should get for most areas. tomorrow, 84. then we'll keep 85 to 86 through the rest of the workweek. allergy forecast, including the grass out there. i was talking about that. definitely have some elm, grass, and ragweed in the mix,

and it's not necessarily a closed low down there. not really looking for development. there's a lot of wind shear up above. but down here on the surface. the difference between the high to the north and the low to the south, that gives us wind. and the northeast flow, the east flow on the southside gives it that east to northeast wind. you see the yellow shading in there. that's the 20 miles per hour winds. there will be gusts in the 20s. that's tomorrow afternoon. this is thursday afternoon. notice the colors offshore in the gulf and over in the atlantic. we're going to have small of the woods. on our side of the state. and they'll stay up through friday morning. that's thursday afternoon. in the evening hours we don't get as much wind. afternoon it gets breezy as well. that's friday afternoon. it's going to stay that way. but i don't think it brings over much rain. and i don't think it's enough to say we'd have problems with the sky way or the bridges. we'll watch it for you. there's the forecast for rain. that's thursday. and friday looks the same. we stay dry all the way

85 on sunday. i've been listening to you on facebook. i know a lot of you like the cool air we had. some of you liked it warm. i think you'll like the forecast as a result. mid 80s for highs. look at the over night lows coming up. mid to upper 60s. it's tough to find rain guys until the middle of next week. and even at that, it's pretty slim. wrong way drivers aren't just a problem here in the bay area because while we've seen our fair share, a wrong way driver in houston caught on a traffic camera crashing head on into another driver. just before 4:30 this morning, police were alerted this older ford mustang was headed south in the northbound lanes. you can see driver after driver swerving to avoid this wrong- way driver. police are following along on the southbound lanes of the freeway and eventually this driver slammed into another car. fortunately that driver is doing okay. that wrong-way driver had a bloodied face but was talking with police when he was loaded into a ambulance.

experts say if you see a wrong- way driver, drive in the far- right lane because the oncoming driver is likely to drive in far left lane when they're headed in the wrong direction. stay right at night. taking a look at the sky 10 network traffic cameras. you can see the north end of the howard franklin backing up there for your evening commute. and over at i-75 south of fowler, heavy traffic there as well. make sure you check road warrior every morning before you head out the door. catch her on 10 news this morning monday through friday from 5:00 to 9:00. monarch butterflies are disappearing by the hundreds of millions. they're losing their habitats because pesticides and extreme weather are killing them. now they're being considered for the endangered species status. the butterflies migrate from canada to mexico. some texans are stepping up to help them survive the fall

deliveries with the same child? that's what happened to a mother in texas. and you're asking how could that happen? doctors had to take the baby from her mother's womb for a life saving surgery after they spotted this tumor during an ultrasound. >> it was a big shock. we were scared. and i had just suffered a miscarriage the prior year to think that i might lose another baby was that rare tumor would have caused her heart to give out before birth, at 24 weeks, doctors took half of her body out and they put her back in after surgery. she was essentially born a second time twelve weeks later. she has two birthdays to celebrate. doctors were able to remove the remaining 10% of the tumor 8 days after she was born. she's alive, healthy, you saw her. >> we've never heard of something like that before.
