don't use the crosswalks. it sounds simple. why can't we do the right thing? follow the law. saves lives. why can't we do it. that's tonight's big story at 5:30. a viral video out of polk county is at the center of a trial underway right now. curve gates caught on video kicking a fan took the stand today. take a look. it happened at one of his concerts in lakeland last year. gates admits to doing that you can actually see it in the video. but his attorney explains he was defending himself. the victim took the stand in court saying she tugged on his shorts to get his attention twice and the second time he kicked her. closing arguments are underway right now. that jury is made up of six different women. if they decide gates is guilty, he could spend a year in jail. a major computer breach the tampa international airport may

resigned. we first broke in story. we have the all new details. >> reporter: during our investigation we found a computer expert hired by the aviation authority shared his private log-in information with unauthorized people leading to a major breach. and even though the airport is trying to downplay the seriousness of the computer breach, their investigation found there were several unauthorized log-ins from other countries. the security director just resigned. documents retained by 10 investigates says martell said he could no longer trust him after the security manager raised concerns about the breach. martell was on administrative leave. he was being investigated for purchases he made with public money, but he decided to resign

gusting last hour davis island 24 miles per hour. gusts generally in the lower to mid 20s and that will die down as we go through the evening hours. i tell you it's nice to take a walk in the evening when you have the sun going down, it's not as hot and you have a nice breeze out there. that's exactly what we have at florida southern college in lakeland. the rest of the night into the r midnight 83 through 76, 75 degrees or so. after that we will start to get into the upper 60s, but not by much. mid-to-upper 60s first thing tomorrow morning. thursday a lot like today except more high clouds. we start with sunshine. have the sunglasses ready to go. in the afternoon hours especially venice to sarasota to bradenton, bartow will start to see high clouds. you can see it at 5:00, which is great timing for sunset, by

you know, if you like working hard for your stuff, and when people steal it gets you angry. tampa police are looking for these three low lives in. channel side parking garage creeping around look fog are -- looking for a motorcycle. look at those sparks flying back here. they are using a grinder to cut the wheel lock off the motorcycle. police say they used an ignition they brought with em drive it away. this is in a parking garage of a sky house. if you recognize these guys, get in touch with tampa police or crime stoppers and you could get a $3,000 reward if your information leads to an arrest. big league of football in the bay area this weekend. i am rain bass with this week's buick home team huddle.
