that i know will say that they never get the flu. that may be true, but then you also have to consider that a lot of people do get the flu shot, so they don't transmit it to you. secondly, people discuss the fact that, you know, somebody else had it, they were sick, so they don't want to get. these things are not true. there is a lot of data out there proving that the flu shot works. there is 46,000 people that die in this country from the flu. maybe from the flu. like this young girl earlier. >> i worked with someone once whose wife got the flu shot and ended up paralyzed. would you say that's an isolated case? it's on a case-by-case basis? >> it's a rare case, yes. some people, if you have something where there is a neural or a neurological deficit, you don't want to get the flu shot. the flu shot is definitely not for everyone. but the majority of people,

the team is asking for even more tax dollars. now investigative reporter noah pransky found out the bucs want

their renovations. >> reporter: hillsborough county sales tax dollars are already paying for a quarter of raymond james stadium nine figure renovation. now they are asking for another $12 million from the state over the next 12 years. deep inside their 700-page application they make the case for how the economy would benefit. they suggest the renovations would help the team secure another super bowl. the improvements will also help the team charge you more for tickets. the bucs are essentially saying they should get state tax dollars because charging you concerts is good for the economy. about 15% for tickets starting next year. now, the team told the state it also expects the renovations to boost attendance in the future. so far this year crowds are down from about a year ago despite the renovations. getting the state dollars may be a long shot since the legislature has not been kind to pro teams in recent years. the bucs want a chance at those incentives, nonetheless, if that opportunity presents itself, we want to make sure

hillsborough county and the city of tampa and raymond james stadium has a seat at the table. >> the team tells me that the price hikes won't be across the board. club seats will see the biggest increases. >> what about economic benefits? who is benefiting? >> we will see a lot of construction jobs. but the bucs are ultimately the biggest beneficiary here. they say that the state and local benefits will be here, too. especially in a year where they have something like a super bowl. so far a lot of economists have and haven't seen it outside of the hotel industry. >> what about the new jobs things? >> construction jobs. the bucs say that there will be a total of seven full-time jobs created by this work. >> seven? >> one of which will be a maintenance job that the county taxpayers will have to pay for.
