she greeted voters waiting outside and said she feels humbled. >> i know how much responsibility goes with this and so many people are counting on the outcome of the election. >> senator tim kaine got an earlier start testing his ballot at 6 am in richmond virginia. donald trump voted a few hours later in new york city. based on a cbs news analysis, clinton leads trump 214 to 186 in electoral votes but the number of states remain up for grabs and the outcome will likely depend on voter turnout. trump got off to an early lead in the first voters casting ballots and parts of new hampshire after midnight. in the early morning hours there were long lines of voters from new york to california and

to several cyber security experts and they tell me the biggest threat now is russia hacking into our election today. but they say ultimately you don't have to worry when you had to the polling place because they have the cia and the fbi and the department of homeland security all keeping an eye on possible threats. fbi says they're worried that russia will use a cyber capabilities to release the documents and create social media accounts designed to spread misinformation. what is all that mean for you. when cyber security expert says don't let it change your mind about getting to the polls today. >> i don't think we need to be paranoid. >> voters say they are not letting it impact them either. >> it is the only way to get your voice to count is to go and vote. >> voting machines aren't connected to the internet so there's only an extremely slim chance the hackers could alter the outcome.

the same as the number of people in congress +3 more for washington dc. when you choose a candidate, you are really voting for electors to support that candidate in the electoral college vote in december. this happened because the founding fathers couldn't agree and some wanted to see the people vote for president and others wanted congress to choose. we got the electoral college. each state gets a number of electors sat on their population at the bi estate, california, has 55 electoral votes. the smallest states like wyoming get 3. it takes 272 win. if nobody reaches that number, the next president will be picked by your favorite folks ever, congress. specifically the house of representatives from the top three candidates from the electoral college. each state only gets one vote. now california is more powerful than wyoming and they are the same. the if the house can decide the vice president becomes president and the vice

i will hook you up for colder weather later on. right now we have some high clouds out there and that is about it. we are starting to see that they can up and we will get more clouds in here through the afternoon. still not much. most of us will look like this throughout the day. we have high clouds but a lot of blue sky in between them and as a result temperatures have come up a good bit so we're up at 84. 81 in clearwater. 76 st. petersburg. most of us will be between 80 to 85 range into the afternoon. we are calling for temperature at 4:00 of 81 in tampa and a little bit higher in hourly observations around the bay

we are looking great as we head into 7:00. and beyond that we are looking good overnight as well with temperatures falling to the 60s once again. here is the future cast taking you to 7:00. things to stay quiet. some clouds but not many and at times they will be thicker through the overnight. notice aside from a blip of green of the future cast there is no rain. what that means is we will get a sprinkle or two but that will be it. certainly no issue causing rain . we have the potential for wednesday late as this disturbance tried to get in here but offshore. i don't want to say we are completely out of the way in terms of rain chances late wednesday into thursday, but we're talking about eight but we're talking about 810% coverage so there may be a stray shower and that is it. once again we are quiet as we head into the weekend. you can see the rainfall forecast really focuses up into the florida panhandle and into
