good afternoon. thank you for joining us today. we begin with a story that has a lot of you talking online. bucs mike evans decided to sit out the national anthem on sunday to protest president- elect donald trump's victory. many of you are not happy about that. others are saying it's his freedom of speech. >> we want to show you the moment we are talking about. you can see the bucs players and bears players with their hands on their hearts during the national anthem. but over on the right-hand side

sitting down eyes cast to the ground. several fans booed while they were in the stands. >> i said if this happens, then america is not.right right now. i said this a long time ago. i thought it was a joke. the joke continues. i am not a political person, but i have common sense. >> one fan was so upset about his protest he burned evans' jersey. adam james says that evans' actions were not only immature, but selfish. one writes the national anthem has zero to do with president- elect trump. he is a disgrace and so are the ones defending him. >> pat reich writes in, quote, he has every right to protest for whatever reason he wants. that's what makes this country great. we are allowed to be free thinkingers and have -- thinkers and have opinions. i am not offended by any player

protest. you probably think i am crazy. >> drew talks about the jersey burnings and writes given what those you jerseys costs, must be nice to have that kind of money to burn in. another one says i am surprised someone has a mike evans jersey. the management is weighing in writing, we encourage members of our organization to respectfully honor our flag during the playing of the national anthem. we recognize every individual's constitutional right to freedom of speech which is cr the american principles we cherish. >> the bucs will hold a news conference at 4:15. we will be there. deputies are searching for people who scribbled anti-trump messages on the outside of three homes. deputies believe the same person started a fire inside a vacant trailer. sarah hollenbeck spoke with the next door neighbors in east hillsborough county. >> reporter: neighbors on brian road in east tampa infuriated

after they woke up to this. expletives painted on the side of this building. the one next door, it trailer over here, had a fire set in the middle of it, and just look at how close the trailer homes are. lots of neighbors afraid the fire would have spread had they not caught it. >> if my husband would have went to sleep, we all would have died. >> reporter: about 200 yards down the road neighbors found yet another home that was covered in expletives with a very strong political message. people here are fed up. >> if you like trump or you don't like trump, keep it to your mind. >> reporter: for days they have been seeing at least two men going between these trailer homes trying to cause trouble, and they say this is not the right way to get your message across. >> they are feeding the fire. why? >> reporter: sheriff's deputies are out here now investigating trying to figure out who wrote these messages and what they

next. diedre russell says she hopes they are caught quickly. >> they should have to removed right away. it's the hate behind it that i am afraid of. >> reporter: all three of these homes are vacant. the deputies say there isn't any electricity or running water, but the neighbors wonder if what will be next is one of their occupied homes, and that's why they're so worried. back to you. president-elect donald trump sat down with "60 minutes" for interview since winning the election. he talked about his famous call to build a wall on the u.s. - mexico border. craig boswell has more details and the latest on mr. trump's attempts to fill out his staff. >> reporter: president-elect donald trump tells "60 minutes" leslie stahl that his campaign pledges were starting points for negotiations, including the wall along the u.s. - mexico border. >> reporter: would you accept a fence?

[ crowd chanting ]. >> reporter: mr. trump says americans shouldn't be afraid of his administration and he plans to bring the country together. craig boswell, cbs news the white house. >> protests are expected to continue today. los angeles police say they are aware high school students are planning to march out of class. there are rumors of students protests planned in the seattle area as well. democratic party for failing to pay attention to white working class voters during the election. >> but i will tell you that i think there needs to be a profound change in the way the democratic party does business. it is not good enough to have a liberal elite. i come from the white working class. i am deeply humiliated that the democratic party cannot talk to the people from where i came from. >> when asked if he thinks he would have won if he were the democratic nominee instead of

hindsight is great. i don't know the answer to that. maybe. maybe not. the trump rally continues on wall street today. stocks opened mostly higher this morning. experts say investors are betting that trump and the republican congress will cut corporate taxes and ease regulations in the financial industry. last week the dow had its best week in five years. donald trump's campaign is figuring out how to transfer the family real estate business to their children. trump's massive portfolio presents unprecedented conflicts of interest for the >> julianna goldman reports from outside trump international hotel in washington. >> reporter: as a candidate last december, donald trump was asked about turkey's role in the fight against isis and began by saying this. >> have a little conflict of interest because i have a major, major building in istanbul, and it's a tremendously successful job. it's called trump towers. >> reporter: as president- elect, that concession is all the more striking given his 59 properties at home and around

prevent conflicts of interest for government officials, they don't apply to the president and vice president who have traditionally put investments in a blind trust. asked about this in january, trump said he would tap his children. >> you would put your assets in a blind trust? >> well, i don't know if it's a blind trump if they run it. i would probably have my children run it with my executives. i wouldn't ever be involved. >> reporter: with hi involved in the militants six, ethics watchdogs say it doesn't wall it off. >> that's turning the business over to your family which is close to you. a real blind trust would be one where he picked a third-party, independent third-party to manage his investments right the arrangement doesn't solve conflicts with deutsche bank.

year 2034. here is a good look at the lunar beauty from several places around the world. certainly a sight to take in. if you are wondering what causes the special supermoon, it happens when a full moon is at the same time as what's called the moon's perigee. it looks like a lot of you all have been enjoying the view as well. lots and lots of comments on our facebook page. some people say they can't really tell the difference, but others are in awe of the beauty pretty and shiny. >> it's 14% larger than the smallest full moon. 7% larger than sort of an average full moon. the closest the moon has been to the earth since 1948. admire our lovely neighbor in the sky. >> reporter: our cbs partners in palm beach say the supermoon is actually causing them to put out a coastal flood advisory. remember the moon's position as

researchers at the cleveland clinic say a ten year study found that celebrex users are not at greater risk for heart problems than those taking naproxen or ibuprofen. >> we know it's not worse with respect to heart complications. we have some pretty good evidence that it's safer for gi and kidney complications. >> now, the study looked at full prescription doses of the drug. not the lower dose drugs available over-the-counter. hereso to see. look at this. these are photos from the citrus county sheriff's office. a water main break caused a huge hole on truman boulevard in beverly hills. that small white car ended up in that hole. after a few minutes the car is then completely covered. truman is shut down from south washington street to south barber street. we want to show you this photo. a missouri photographer is getting a lot of attention for this picture. this rainbow baby photo is

forecast has been great. >> another great weekend in the forecast this saturday and sunday. we have to get through kind of a gross day today. we are seeing a lot of cloud cover out there. a little bit of very light rain. it's not going to get any hearse than this. we are tracking a few sprinkles right now moving through the tampa bay area and it's lining up right along and south of the i-4 corridor. around tampa bay we are picking up on some of that light rain. if you are in south tampa you are getting a few sprinkles. if well. it's about as intense as it is going to get. it's not gonna be problematic for you. it's gonna be yucky for the next few hours. we will start you off around 70 degrees and we won't warm you up very much. you can see we have got a lot of cloud cover. there will be a couple of small breaks in here, but overall the trend is gonna be more gray sky than blue. any blue is going to be really, really limited. here is the evening commute.

changes there. futurecast is picking up on light sprinkles. we are gonna see some of that mixing in there. don't think we are not gonna get any of that. still a 10% coverage through the afternoon. then overnight we finally start to work in some of that slightly drier air. start to see some clearing about 5:00 tomorrow morning for the nature coast. it's gonna take a little bit longer for that to clear for the bay area. as we head into tomorrow afternoon we will start gett and see a little bit more sunshine and that will extend throughout the rest of the weekend in that forecast. so 75 today. a few breaks in the clouds. mostly though it's gonna look pretty gray out there. overnight another cool start, but until we get that dry air on in here we are really not gonna drop, drop those temperatures, and that's gonna take place as we head into wednesday morning. so that's when we're gonna start off in the upper 50s. daytime highs in the upper 70s.

store. all you have to do is watch "10news this morning" at 6 a.m. a school janitor in new hampshire is doing something extra to bring joy to the kids. he found a way to connect to the students by doing this. he use a vacuum cleaner and makes designs on the carpet. sometimes they are logos for sports teams. sometimes charlie brown. the kids say this they are excited every morning to just see the design that he makes the night before. >> and i love that the district appreciates this because he talked ab let him make the designs at home. so he uses all that creativity at the school. like you mentioned, the kids look forward to this and love it. >> so exciting for them to come in and see what he created. >> yeah, every day it's different. it's fun. >> and they are really good. >> they are. >> for being a vacuum cleaner on a carpet like that, pretty good. >> most of us couldn't pen and paper that. imagine doing that with a vacuum cleaner. >> the logos, you got to be precise. >> cool. >> that's just great.

>> very nice. now it's like, all right, come on, dude. so this afternoon just kind of like overcast? >> yeah, and it already started early this morning. a lot of us, if we were later risers, missed out on the supermoon. we did get some great shots from some overnight, including this one. holley sent this in. it's just an absolutely gorgeous shot out there. you're gonna be able to see a pretty fool moon once again tonight. we're gonna have the same issue. it's gonna struggle to clear out it's not really until wednesday that we get that bright sunshine back in the forecast but it's gonna stick around. and look at the weekend forecast. highs near 80. overnight lows in the 50s. so literally something for everyone at some point in the day. if you like it cooler, if you are like i am not going outside until it's 57 degrees -- 75 degrees, you are set either way. that's going to do it for us. we will see you back here
