hearts during the national anthem. on the right in the highlight there is wide receiver mike evans sitting down. his eyes looking too the ground. a bunch of fans booed in the stands, and one man was so upset over that he actually set his mike evans jersey on fire after the game on his grill. only on 10news now adam james says he won't support the bucs player any more, especially since this game is dedicated in honor of veterans. >> to do that right there was embarrassing. i was actually embarrassed to be a bucs fan. >> now, of course, not everyone was this upset. others we spoke with said evans had every right not to participate during the national anthem. >> you got to respect this man's wishes. i don't think that he should be penalized or punished for something. that's just how he feels, you know? >> you wanted to know, did evans even float so we did some

have you ever caught yourself doing he is trying to swat that raccoon away with a broom from his garbage. i have done this. in fact, i probably look like a crazy man. i had the broom in my hand running down the sidewalk in my socks trying to get this thing away from my garbage can, right? okay. there are more to these animals than you would think. one local woman in a neighborhood you wouldn't expect has raccoons all over

shows you why she considers them pets. >> reporter: raccoons are smelly, a nuisance, and some are even dangerous. okay. you probably hate them like i do. when i found out about someone taking care of them, i had to see it for myself. >> they are so cute. >> reporter: marilyn waldorf might change your opinion of this. she lives in a normal tarpon springs neighborhood, but definitely does not have a normal home. >> it balances out my life. started taking in rescue animals, and her specialty became racoons. now she has more than a dozen in her home. one of flew floridians with a license to turn her house into a animal shelter. she says they might be pesky, when really we have taken over their habitat. once she raises them, she prepares them to go back into the wild. >> they need a lot of attention, and we just love to

we need the rain really bad. we are only getting a very little bit of it but i don't want to complain about it. i don't want to say soggy, because it's so light, but some of this is coming down pretty good. hernando county seeing most of it now, especially on the county line and points southward. you take u.s. 19 this evening, you are gonna run into a little bit of rain there. crystal river a couple sprinkles still there. most of the it will be to the south. now, polk county -- excuse me, pasco county, the southern part is going t couple of hours. it will be spotty. like what you are seeing here in pinellas county, indian rocks, madeira, pinellas park, a couple of sprinkles here. we have had several waves in the northern part of pinellas over towards tarpon and east lake and mcmullin booth road area. that is moving through east tampa a couple of sprinkles through thonotosassa. now you get a break. it will be light up i-4. lake

this whole line is shifting southward. eventually we will get more into sarasota county, which manatee county we have had a couple good sprinkles for the beaches. downtown bradenton as well. that's moving off to the east. so overnight tonight, and it will take a while, three, four, five in the morning to get all of this to move off towards the south. obviously, that means we have got a lot of clouds. if you are trying to do the supermoon tonight, not much of a shot for us. take a look at macdill air force we are not talking about a lot of rain coming in here, but a couple sprinkles for sure. the front has come through for the most part. it's bound to venice right now. north and northwest winds 5 to 10 miles per hour. we are falling now down to the 60s with a couple of 70s left over. sarasota at 71 with sebring. most areas in the 60s, including all of pinellas and all of hillsborough county. davis island on the water there at 70 degrees. even that temperature will tom.

one buccaneer place where the attention is not focused on the buccaneers win yesterday over the bears but focused on mike evans' decision to sit during the national anthem in protest of president-elect donald trump. now, we first brought you this story last night at 11:00 of a fan burning evans' jersey in response to that protest. i talked to a couple of fans on twitter who said they intend to boycott future buccaneer home games as long as this protest is ongoing. now, head coach dirk koetter spoke to the media about two hours ago and he decision not to stand for yesterday's national anthem. >> are you disappointed that mike decided to sit during the national anthem? >> yeah, i am disappointed for that, but again i also respect mike's freedom of speech and freedom of expression. i was texting with him last night. the players are off today. i will speak with mike on wednesday. that conversation will be between me and him. >> reporter: you imagine some
