thanksgiving with his family. >> we know a lot of you are right now getting comfortable on the couch feeling a little stuffed with a hearty thanksgiving dinner. some of your neighbors are already hitting the stores. the toys r us store just opened months ago. and they are ashaking off the turkey, getting those gifts. >> reporter: absolutely. shoppers are just starting to come in now. they've had their thanksgiving turkey. they've gotten in line and spent the day just wa up. this is supposed to be one of of the ones, my walking pole. a hot new tow. this is the toy area where they are demonstrating the latest gadgets, a lovable robot dog. it is not mass chaos in here. they have an organized system. they are letting in 50 people at a time. so they are fog to do this kind of orderly but people have made their list, checked it twice

officers were assigned to the parade. in new york, roxana saberi, 10 news. dozens of celebrities also took part in the parade including singers tony bennett and sarah mclaughlin. thousands of runners and walkers laced up their tennis shoes and raced this morning. runners raced three miles along beautiful bayshore boulevard. the event ended with go big medal for every participant. the runner tell us they're thankful for have burned so many calories before most people woke up this morning and now they can enjoy a guilt-free festivity. >> extra pie since i ran this morning. >> i only rub in there is food or someone is chasing me. >> i felt proud of myself sort
