expensive gifts coming in the mail. and they're pretty slick...following around delivery trucks....so from the time the package is dropped off to the time it's nabbed is only a few seconds. just moments after the delivery man just moments after the delivery man leaves, a thief is on his tail. some porch pirates, like this one, can be brazen too. backing their car right up into your driveway, then loading up one package after another. today is the biggest online shopping day of the year. the national retail federation says than more half of us will be doing our holiday shopping online. that's millions and millions of packages being delivered from a busy cyber monday through christmas eve. ilene figueroa always gets her packages delivered to her at work, she's seen burglaries like this in her own neighborhood.

especially when we've all been bombarded with sales ads and emails telling us to "buy now..." so did some research for you, and this is what we found out: you might have noticed your email inbox flooded with promotion and coupon codes from your favorite places to do some wardrobe shopping... and it's because experts say almost all of them are offering some stellar deals today. this season, cyber monday is the best for buying clothes and shoes...so if you have those items on your list...today is the day to cross them off. and if you deals on electronics were best on black friday...you're still in luck. experts say today will be great for laptops...and for androids. all you apple lovers might be better off looking for deals on iphones at other electronics stores...as apple usually does an in- store promotion only on black friday. we'll be looking into good deals for you all morning long. so make sure you're watching at 5:30...we're going to help take out some of the work of

back to you. it's been a weekend of mourning for some but celebration for others after long time cuban leader fidel castro died friday at the age of 90. cubans are observing nine days of mourning and castro will be buried december 4th. flags in havana are staff. he was known as a tyrant for imprisoning critics and committing human rights abuses - others looked at him as a revolutionary. castro was

weekend. before the burial -- his ashes will be taken around cuba on the route the rebels took to havana in 1959. president-elect donald trump is back in new york this morning after spending the thanksgiving weekend in palm beach, florida. and he spent some of that time tweeting about the pending vote recount in wisconsin. hillary clinton's counsel said that they would participate in the recount. mr. trump won the state by 27- thousand votes. the president- elect tweeted "hillary clinton conceded" and called it a scam. his chief of staff went even further. today, the transition team will continue the debate over who should be secretary of state. mitt romney and rudy giuliani are both being considered. delta airlines is apologizing after a passenger caused a disturbance on board.. and was allowed to stay on the plane.

man's tirade went viral.. and led to outrage on social media. delta released a statement saying the man should have been removed from the flight. the company said it has a responsibility to make sure all customers feel safe. a popular tourist spot in new orleans turned dangerous over the weekend as a shooting killed one person and hurt nine others. it happened early sunday morning on bourbon street. police aren't sure what prompted the shooting but they say two men were arguing and

at last check, four of the victims remain in the hospital. they are expected to be okay. new orlean's mayor believes the suspect are from out of town. as you fill up this morning from the holiday weekend, you won't get sticker shock. experts say gas es off. here's a look at how prices stand this morning. the national average for a gallon of unleaded is 2.13. the state average 2.09. in the bay area is even lower at 2.00. no one has come forward yet after winning nearly 421 million dollars from the powerball jackpot. the winning ticket was sold in lafayette, tennessee. this is the second largest jackpot in tennessee history. as always, the winner has 180 days from the drawing date to go

headquarters to claim their prize. unfortunately, there were no smaller million dollar winners in florida. don't look now, but the tampa bay bucs have a nice little win streak going and are back above 500 for the season. they beat the seattle seahawks 14 to five sunday at ray jay. jameis winston who has been on a roll recently threw for 220 yards and two touchdowns. those touchdown passes went to mike evans. the bucs are now six and five. they head to san diego to play the chargers this sunday. u-s-f! the bulls are back in college football's top 25 for the first time since 2011. in the coaches poll, they are ranked number 23 and number 23 in the a-p poll. the bulls have won 17 of their last 21 games.. this year is the first time in school history they've reached 10 wins. this is pretty cool. starting today,

story you have to see this morning. at a california animal sanctuary otters and children are swimming together. they are using it as a form of therapy. we hear a lot about therapy dogs, horses and even cats...but this is something unheard of. these therapy otters are trained to interact with children with severe or terminal illnesses. anyone can swim with the otters at

the organization uses the money they raise through paid swims to fund all their make-a-wish visits. according to its website, the founders of nutured by nature started this non- profit after wildfires destroyed there home in 2003. much the community came together then, so they wanted to give back through this program. right now, a

right now, a north carolina man is recovering after falling into a sinkhole. crews say it formed after hurricane matthew swept through. you can see here just how big the hole is. the man somehow got stuck in the mud in the sinkhole, but crews aren't sure how long he was there before they arrived to help him out.

this time last year -- star wars fans were preparing for the release of star wars: the force awakens today -- fans will be back in line waiting to get tickets to the next star wars movie. this was the line about eight hours ago in california for tickets to see rogue one.
