a web of lies and deciet! and now one of these men, faces time in prison. the man in trouble is accused of cashing-in on a "battle field injury. " an injury -- he now admits to lying about. here's tanya eiserer . casey owens will always be a hero to his sister. 455829 there is the saying that all gave some, but some gave all that was casey. the marine lost both legs when his humvee hit an anti- tank mine in iraq in 2004. for his bravery, he

heart. 455829 casey wasn't perfect but he followed the call that his country asked. he stepped up. that's what makes him a hero to me. so what really hurts lezleigh owens kleinbrink is to know that a fellow marine stole casey's story of valor. it was casey's fellow battle buddies who discovered brandon blackstone's web of deception. 412122 he may have enlisted in the marine corps, but he's not a marine. marines don't behave like this. blackstone made the mistake of showing a picture of the mangled humvee to one of casey's marine buddies. he claimed he had been injured in the explosion. the friendw was a lie. this is a youtube video of blackstone talking about it. 220 "i ended up 100 percent disabled and unemployable due to my mental state and the injuries that i sustained. blackstone recently pled guilty, admitting that he lied about winning a purple heart in order to con a wounded war charity into giving him a mortage-free house.
