and i'm ian reitz. right now-- more than 100 firefighters are working around the clock to contain a massive fire near gatlinburg and pigeon forge tennessee. destroying homes, businesses and a massive stretch of hiking trails in the smoky mountains. 10news reporter sarah hollenbeck is live in the satellite center, as new video comes down every moment from tennessee, sarah-- people are forced to leave their homes behind. yes, hundreds have evacuated and more could evacuate today if they are unable to get the flames and thick smoke under control. one of the most difficult

the family of a popular local musician will be making funeral arrangements later this morning for rob cartwright. before rob was a member of the bearded brothers band, he was a baby faced violinist. his first violin was bought on a whim by his uncle who had planned on hanging it on his wall. instead it became a lifelong passion for rob. he played everything from classical to country rock performing at bars around the bay area. rob died sunday night when florida highway patrol says an suv turned in front of him while he was riding on us 19 in hudson. for many of us, it's been a busy holiday shopping weekend. but now it's time to turn the focus away from ourselves and onto causes we care

late musical icon prince will be remembered during a four day festival on the first anniversary of his death. the festival will be at paisley park in minneapolis and held april 20 through the 23. prince's band the revolution, morris day, the time and others will perform some of prince's songs. tickets for the festival are

500 dollars. prince died on april 21 from an accidental overdose at his home paisley park which is also a recording complex. there's a new kind of amusement park may be coming to a japanese city. --the mayor had pledged to construct an unusual "spa- musement park" if a concept video reached more than a million views. --the video showed visitors enjoying rides that had been rides that had been modified to allow them to soak in water from hot springs. --so, the video hit that number...just four days after being uploaded. --now the city says they are moving forward with their plans. --someone with the city said they're discussing safety issues...and it's not clear if the park will look exactly like the concept
