it can happen to any one of us. maybe you cut someone off in traffic.. or are driving too slow .. and that driver behind you doesn't like it! or maybe you're the hot head! in fact -- aaa says 8 million drivers have engaged in extreme road rage. now, after an incident -- on u-s 301 and boyette road in riverview, one woman's bringing awareness to the issue. shannon valladolid shows you why recording the altercation may have helped and what to do if this happens to you.

" jewels says her daughter was ready to apologize after she noticed the driver get off his car. she was at a red light with cars in front of h things and she figured the only thing she could do was record it, so that's what she did." and claudia tobar agrees. she's an instructor at central city jiu jitsu. she says your cellphone can be a powerful weapon. "so videotaping is key in this situation? why is that? well, now she has evidence and because she stayed very calm when she was videotaping but

tonight. authorities say say former nfl player joe mcknight was shot and killed. a man pulled the victim from his car and shot him several times after an argument. that man is now in custody. mcknight was a five-star recruit who played college ball at u-s-c. from there, he went on to the nfl, playing for the new york jets.. and kansas city chiefs. he had just wrapped up his first season in the canadian football league. this next story is a big problem across the country. a heartbreaking tale of this texas teenager and her family. they say she was cyberbullied for 18-year-old brandy and her family complained to police... but they say nothing changed. there were harassing phone calls... bogus social media pages using her picture and nasty comments. on tuesday -- brandy sent an email to her whole family -- telling them she was going to kill herself. her family rushed home -- and she was still alive. they tried to stop it -- but it was too late. adding to the heartbreak, her father, watched it happen: police are investigating

cyber-bullying crime. so far, no one has been arrested. when we posted this story on facebook, you told us you want the bullies to be punished ... and asked whether brandy's school did enough. we found out that "pinellas county schools" get daily reports on back in 2008 -- a bill called the "jeffrey johnston stand up for all act" was passed in florida. it requires all school disctricts to come up with a policy to address bullying. but if if you feel like your school isn't doing enough -- call law enforcement -- call us -- but don't stop trying to get help for your child.

rely on the bus to get your child to school... big changes could be coming down the road in hillsborough county. the district's looking to cut routes for some 7- thousand kids. 10 news reporter kendra conlon looks at how money's driving the decision, and what you can do if you're not on board. 6th grader janette rincone depends on the bus to get her to and from wilson middle... because her parents have to leave for work early. she lives less than 2 miles from school... look at what her walk would be... crossing a busy kennedy boulevard. janette's one of nearly 7000 middle and high school students who are considered "courtesy riders". the state doesn't reimburse the district for the expense because it believes parents are responsible for transportation within 2 miles.

cutting the routes to save 8-10 million dollars per year. some parents are on board. if the board approves the plan tuesday... impacted parents will then be notified. some 800 students will keep their rides because of roadside hazards. a parent can protest the change if there's a safety concern... the speed limit... traffic count.. or narrow walking path. the district will review it - and ask the county to fix the problem. janette hopes the district won't put the brakes on her ride. in tampa, kendra conlon, 10news wtsp the changes would be for middle and high school courtesy riders next school year. the district will then look at elementary routes. if you'd like to
