apple cofounder steve jobs this mornling he died yesterday -- morning he died yesterday he was one of the most influential people in the technology world. he left in the 80s and founded next and bought and revolutionized pixar in 1994 he came back to a struggling apple as ceo to launch in 2003 he was diagnosed with cancer apple has not released the cause of death but his health problems have not been a secret. the company says the 56- year-old died peacefully surrounded by family fans and business leaders around the world are mourning his death. >> reporter: he was not just a cofounder of apple he was the company's inspirational and creative leader he was a ceo with a fan base after all not something you see every day. that was because he was behind so many ground breaking gadgets

stamp, for discovering a dent in the universe as he did from the late 70s on you know think of all the computers i have used back over 20 years now. >> when computers used to be the size of a room i remember back in my college days, ten years otw how will he be remembered as far as the actual product he put in the palm of our hand. >> that is the thing, apple computer ink then they dropped computer from the name with good reason because some body said yesterday bill gates wanted to put a computer on every desk, steve jobs put one in every pocket and purse and yeah, they took the computer off the desk. where does that come from? i know i am asking a lot of you but we recognize he stood up there and said here it is he got on the jeans and the black shirt where does that come from when we learn about how untraditional his path was to getting where he is today.

breath but yeah, tim cook has been running the company in jobs stead for awhile and he has done a good job this is not the company it once was and you look at apple and you know the 90s when it was -- you hope this new ceo will turn it around now this is the company jobs remade apple and it is functioning better than it once did. >> even when you walk into an apple store you know it will be a different experience almost like walking into the future a part of his big plan to make it so different. >> yeah i won't say the phrase adjourn. but translates to total work of art that is what jobs sees. the one time i met him when the apple store opened tyson's corner 2001 he spoke about how elegant the air conditioning and heating plumbing was. >> it looks so pristine like walking into the space bar in star wars. he has been compared to thomas edison, is this too much do you

area. another big story occupied wall street protestors, demonstration turned violent in new york city last night capitol and protestors heading down broadway to wall street got blocked by a police barricade some officers used their batons and shot pepper spray, 28 people were arrested mostly for disorderly conduct. one is charged with assaulting a police officer. demonstrators have spread to many cities across the nation since they began in manhattan three weeks ago the movement has reached the nations capitol the rally is happening in freedom plaza. stacy how do things look now? >> reporter: well, things are moving alison we have a lot of folks gathering for the rally the actual rally takes place around noon if you listen you can hear behind me they have various training sessions they are setting up tent cities there are a variety of groups i can't count all the various groups and people i have seen

out, a compendium of protestors if you will. this is an event that has been in the planning stages, for six months, but they have been watching what is happening with occupy wall street and other movements around the country i spoke to an organizer of this particular event about an hour ago and she told me this was the message behind her movement. >> the message is that we want our resources in the country to be used for meeting our human needs rather than used for wars around the world and a war on the people in the united states through the economic kind of sanctions put on us for lack of housing lack of health care, coverage, unemployment, those types of things. freedom plaza is going to be tied up beginning at noon through the rest of the afternoon i would say if you don't have to come to this area, avoid it unless you want to be part of this protest or witness it there is going to be a march included with this protest i already see there is police setting up around the

a seed that is quite large. >> look at that >> looks just like a sun flower. >> it does. >> it really looks like a sun flower and tastes like one. >> so then, i will do it too. it is not quite ripe doesn't taste exactly like a sun flower today but they just finished blooming. >> so my silly question is can you take these and plant them and then they will grow in our own backyard. >> you can some of these you can just -- you might want to store them and plant in spring then you have a little more control what is happening plant them in march or february maybe read about the species you are working with we tend to clean them, well, like here, culvers, root, what once was a white flower we will put it in a seed sieve you can put it on paper

you started to grow as an artist. >> when i went to maryland university i graduated in four years but within that four years, man, we went through a lot, some of my buddies and we went through a lot and i said i might as well start taking my art more seriously i don't know how long this football career will last it was the perfect time i got free education and was able to look at different cultureart. >> because of a scholarship. >> you graduated with a fine arts degree. >> i did four years exactly i had a eligibility when i went up to hofsra, maryland didn't honor my fifth year that is where i went pro from i had to start from scratch in one year. >> it is a very -- people look at it and think oh, man i want to do that it is not an easy thing. >> it is a business. it is a business and the business doesn't love you. >> mm-hmm. >> so you got to be mature enough to accept you might have to do something else later on.
