brutally murdered people followed this aggressively it was a local and national media news story not only because of the brutality but the twists and turns of this investigation, 29-year-old brittany norwood is the woman on trial originally she told police she and her coworker jana murray were assaulted by two masked men who entered the lululemon store in bethesda and beat them sexually assaulted them and left jana murray dead her story quickly unraveled as police investigators probed and now she is on trial for first degree murder. this is a horrendous time, coworkers should have been some type of intervention i doubt this was an impull sieve act. >> just so freaky and weird i have been reading about it in the paper i am curious to see what is going on with it. the motive for this crime

has resonated with folks. >> the message is positive, hopeful i try to make god relevant for today not just quoting a lot of scripture and talking about doctrine although that is important my message is how do we live our life how do i keep a good attitude when the economy is downer i have been told i have a bad medical report a lot is about our self- esteem, attitude value in god's eyes. >> we talk about the haters out there, throw that term around some of your critics say you know, pastor osteen needs to talk more about scripture and get more into the bible, is that needed in modern or practical christianity in your opinion? >> i think it is all needed but you need to know how to apply the scripture not just i can get up there and read a chapter in the bible, i would rather take a part of love your enemies, or be grateful for today are simple part of the scripture and let people walk away knowing how to apply that scripture. >> which is i don't want to get

noon a lot of conflict on this show, jeremy, seems his goal is actually to help these viewers and get them some help and maybe point out what is going wrong in their lives jeremy kyle joins us once again thanks for coming in. >> my pleasure. >> when i watch a show like your show, here is the thing that always -- i will watch it and i will say why did these people go on the show because they know you are going to talk about some very personal things, a lot of them have issues, you know, and that is going to be revealed and talked about you are going to conference them about it why do they do that. -- confront them about it, why do they do that? >> i have had that. most people would watch a show like this and that big burning question why would someone go on national television and bare their soul we have to remember for many of these people there isn't a support network the

problem i have had in britain that is the point to try and make it is a television show, right, and there is a line between entertainment and counselling and if we wanted to run an hour of counselling everyone would go oh, but for me it is a moral responsibility to get it right if you say to people you come to us with your stuff we will strip you down i am very honest and in your face but there is an end point the point is when we have stripped you down we will put you back together again there isn't anything other than genuine help the after care service, support service will provide instant, ongoing rehab detox whatever it is not just excuse to do a television show for me when i started 7 years ago in england i said it has got to be that i will not just do that not about a circus exploitation it is about the journey you will see it is very emotional some times very angry some times but we are trying to get to the end point right you came here with that issue let's strip it down and move it

fox 5 morning news is happy to once again host mentoring monday, chance for you to get connected to a volunteer opportunity, with a young person. >> sarah similar monos is back with more. you know there is a lot of folks out there, maybe they can thing of someone in their life that made a difference that was a mentor, a role model well, this is their chance to really kind of pass it on and help a youngster out there, as well we will talk with a couple organizations right now, answering the phones all morning long. christy atly you have been at it taking phone calls what is your advice to folks out there about your organization how to get involved. >> well, we work with middle school students, grade 5s

through 8, typically people interested are passionate about education, especially education dc public schools as we know dc public schools are petty behind -- pretty behind other school systems in country we want people passionate about middle school, that is a critical time to work with kids. >> i think you told me as well it is not crucial or necessary that you have an education background there is other things they can do as well. >> absolutely even though you are teaching lessons to the kids you don't have to have background knowledge, they are straightforward lessons and you have fun with the kids. >> other organization that has been here all morning long, concerned black men this is a national chapter give me an idea, sort of maybe questions you are getting from folks here as well today, kind of how you have been able to help them out and guide them.
