more on that for in you a minute. >> thank you, tucker. >> we are following several big stories out of the sports world as developments continue in the child sex scandal at penn state. >> and more clues in the case of a kidnapped national player. dave ross joins us again this morning with more on these stories. goon, dave. >> yes, first, we'll start with penn state where assistant football coach mike mcqueary will not be at tomorrow's game. that's because he has been getting threats against his lie. mcqueary was a graduate assistant when he told coach joe paterno about seeing a young boy in a shower with jerry sandusky. he did not tell police but did testify in front of a gained jury. sources tell our fox affiliate that more than a dozen people are considering coming forward to say they were abused as well by sandusky. pennsylvania governor spoke about the violence calling the rioters knuckleheads and says

he supports the trustee's decision to support coach paterno. i was disappointd in their actions. i support the board's decisions. their actions caused me to not have confidence in their abilities to continue to lead. >> and the other top sports story, the kidnapping of ramos continues. ramos was alive as of yet. the 24-year-old was be a ducked while in his home country. they now have police keches of the two of the alleged abductors and found the kidnapper's cars but no word from the suspect themselves as far as the ransom goes. despite ramos not being a citizen, u.s. officials are helping with the investigation. we've also just received word of a vigil for ramos being organized tonight set to happen

family deserves an apology. dover air force base is where america's war dead come home. a scathing report now says that it was bat handling of remans which dishonored those who gave their lives. three whistle blowers reported the problem at dover. the office of special counsel found part of three bodies misidentified. three people were funnished but no one was fired over what a report calls gross mismanagement. all american, including myself are justifiably disturbed. we are not going to stand for. this we are not going to allow this to exit. woof to do it betterment it has to be corrected. >> the report found that poddy parts from troop killed in afghanistan were lost twice and that in another case, the arm

connection here in the d.c. area. >> explain how people can get involved in this. >> a couple of different ways. our big ride, big event of the year is tomorrow. 9:30 to 12:30, come to tyson sporting health club. and most are also participating and we stream it to clubs all across the u.s. and even beyond. we have 13 different countries involved. everyone is sweating for a good cause. >> everybody is sweating including michael paul who will be sweating as well because you are involved in this. this is something that's near and dear to your heart. explain how you got involved with debbie. >> debbie contacted me with looking for veterans who were in the health and fitness industry. i prior had been a personal trainer and fitness instructor. she asked me to come train and try out the crank cycle and back an instructor. that led me into getting involved with sweat for a vet

and that's very important for me to be a part of helping my fellow veterans and getting them involved with sports and exercise. >> explain a little bit. there was a sky diving accident in 2002 and you've always been a very fit person in your life, very athletic. how do that change your life? did you feel that you would not be active and this changed that. >> the accident changed my life drastically after the accident in 2002, as you said. i hit the ground running trying to figure out what i was going to do, trying to get involved with exercise and fitness and sport, participated in wheelchair basketball, tennis, hand cycling, led it all and that helped me help other people with disability, mentoring them and the crank

mountain, 31 dallas. 30 in winchester. going to be very blustery this afternoon. winds will be with us throughout the day today as we were watching this very cold air, seasonable chill moving back in from the north and west across the great lakes and down into the washing top area. here is the good news. lots of sunshine in the forecast if you are east of the mountains today. out in the mountains, you can see that cloud that came in tough. we had a few of our facebook friends that tell us they saw some snow it flakes flying. here in washington mostly sunny day today but it's going to be unseasonably cool with high temperatures, i think, barely budging above 50. again, when you mix in the winds out of the north and west, gusting to 25 to 30 mile- per-hour, going to feel like 30s and 40s for you. take along a jacket as you head out the door for whatever activities you might be doing later today. here is the forecast. good news that is we have a nice weekend forecast. lots of sunshine.
