cam. the folk is still out there, temperatures warming up after the snow we had yesterday and the guys in the weather department said that is all contributing to the fog. good news perhaps behind that fog you can see a little hint of sunshine. glad you are with us good morning i am steve chenevey. >> i am alison seymour. i absolutely could see it steve. thanks very much. it was a surprise to many, delight for most kids no doubt the snow that came down yesterday for quite a time, pretty good clip enough to coat the ground from any where from a half inch to 2 inches in places it is not enough to keep kids home from school except in page county virginia, where schools are opening two hours late. yesterday when it was snowing one of my daughters said why don't adults like snow mama and i said because i can't drive in this. well, maybe you need to go out and play in it more often.

polls are open in new hampshire's primary and tiny village of dickville notch a handful of voters cast their ballots just after midnight. there are nine registered voters there. two each voted for romney and hunts man, gingrich and paul tied for second one vote each the other three voters are democrats who voted for president barack obama. the president is hitting the campaign trail. >> he told a crowd at jefferson hoe toll there is no difference than -- hotel there is no difference between those running for congress and the gop groups. i am not going to let members of congress put party ideology ahead of the people they were elected to serve not when there is this much at stake this is a make or break moment for this country.

with roller coaster approval ratings the president is trying to convince those who voted for him in 2008 to vote for him again, in november. to talk more about today's primary vote in new hampshire, david drucker joins us via skype from nashua new hampshire. let's talk about what is happening in new hampshire aside from dicksville notch what is the feeling in new hampshire. >> the feeling is, can mitt romney win by enough so that it is a really good victory and who is going to win second place is huntsman going to come from back in the pack the surprise everybody, ron paul going to slip to third and what about rick santorum after that surprise up seat near victory in iowa how is that going to go done don't forget newt gingrich he has been going after mitt
7:06 am
romney like it is his personal mission in life. you had an interesting article talking about the next step in the process. a lot of people expecting mitt romney will win in new hampshire what happens in south carolina? well, at every turn in this race it seems like the state is at hand it could be the decisive one now at this point we are headed into south carolina and a state that could tell us what is going to happen in this contest. nicky haley was in new hampshire with mitt romney end of last week and she said let's give them a land slide here send them into south carolina with a lot of momentum that is the hope of the romney team he wins so handily, it presents it as the clear choice. given its conservativism, that is where people like rick

to south carolina he sent him flowers waiting for him when he got there. >> john hunts man obviously put all his apples into new hampshire do you thing he can get the support he was looking for there if he doesn't is he done? i think you have to look at it that way although, south carolina's tour as you correctly note he didn't campaign any where else in the country except new hampshire, basically from day one was briefly head quartered in florida, packed up shop and went north and i think john hunts man knows that, he sort of noted that and he is an interesting candidate i feel he presented himself a lot more moderate than his record in some respects, would suggest and i have never quite understood why he didn't run as a more conservative candidate and try to compete on that level but he is who he is. he did what his crowds have definitely increased over the
7:09 am
