wins that, i would say, that the runners up have to do some serious soul searching about where they go and i would tell my colleagues in the press you can't justify going to florida, as a legitimate expense after that. >> let's talk about rick perry, because, he had sort of said he was going to rethink his whole campaign, and now we see him again in new hampshire was he much of a player as far as you saw in new hampshire. >> no, not a player at all he made some appearances up there and i actually met supporters of his including the 2010 republican candidate for governor, remember, all these people submitted to governor perry early on when he appeared to be a very attractive property and then came the debates and oops and as they say the rest is history. >> okay. next is south carolina you said all eyes are on mitt on this one. >> yes, they certainly are.
9:06 am
remember, south carolina has been having primaries for 3 years and -- 32 years more often than not it has been a pivotal race, true playoff, for the republican nomination for president. wrapped up the nomination for ronald regan, it did the same for george h w bush and bob dole and john mccain so i would have to say if mitt romney wins it, and history is his guide he will be the republican nominee, and people in the pun dent will start speculating about a running meat. welcome -- mate. >> welcome back home thank you for stopping by our studios before you get some rest. >> don't forget, gizzy's america was on the job in south carolina this time and reporting. thank you for having me alison. >> thanks john. by the way, no surprise, president obama won new
