national. temperatures have been falling here let's show you slight radar. all that moisture is going to move overhead here starting later top, maybe 10:00 or 11 tonight. we're going to see a quick burst of some of the white stuff or know and then it looks like we transition into that wintry mix quite a bit. nothing here in the immediate washington area at the moment although these may expand further east. but that's a winter storm watch. our viewers in cumberland, martinningburg, under a winter storm wang. the concern here is ice. we can get accumulation of ice. that will be plenty to cause problems out there. here is the forecast for the day. afternoon clouds, chilly temperatures. high only 8. we'll look at the rest of the weekend in just a couple of minutes.

had a scheme going with this man. metro ceo said that he was disgusted. >> the betrayal of our costs and the thousands of honest employees here. as a result of, this i ordered that forensic accountant from deloitte & touche join the investigation to look at the existing systems, control systems for the revenue system and to determine what more improvements have to be made to improve security so this does not happen again. >> according to a court affidavit, the scheme works like this. mcdade and heal were assigned to what's called emergency in which a metro employee and metro police would work together. they would work a machine. according to the affidavit, the fbi received a tip that a metro police officer was using bags

of coins to perform virginia scratchoff lottery tickets worth thousands of dollars. and he was doing it a lot. in october, the affidavit said that heal spent more than $13,000 on lottery tickets at one store near his wood bridge home. in november, he spent over 7000- dollar. and just about the same amount in december. the affidavit says that the two would stop at an overpass near a hotel in alexandria and hide bags of coins in the underbrush. they would then come back later in their personal cars and remove the cash. police were able to track their movements using gps devices attached to their cars. according to the affidavit, heal had unexplained cash deposits in excess of 150,000- dollar: they detrade their colleague. >> court documents reveal that

we have the filmmakers. both of these men share the role of director and producer for the movie and they join us. a fresh set of eyes on a problem unfortunately that has been with us since the bat old days. why have you chosen to take on this role? let me start with you, mr. duke. first of all, thank you very much for having us. based on what i have been through was a dark skinned young man many years ago and where i saw my sister and my niece, my children, at times go through it, unfortunately still going through it, and we wanted to create a dialogue and give them a voice and that's basically why we did it. >> and chan, when you decided to do this together, why did you not run screaming because this is so controversial, it's so real.

i wonder how many anchor women are of darker hue, something that i'm very conscious of. some of the comments touching their emotional, just a couple of slips. here is one woman said. i thought it was dirt. i thought i would try to clean my color off. this one is the one that always gets you. you are cute for a dark girl. these are comments that are actually made. for those watching who don't understand it, don't think this is real, tell us about the emotion that was reveal with these women's interviews. a lot of emotions was thank you for giving us the voice. a lot of things that people hurt from inside, they don't speak about. this is an opportunity. we got everything from tears to cop fess about things. it's difficult to describe. >> you know, to add to what

touchy. perhaps he does not want to go to the wheelchair if he is using a cane. that could be a pride issue. this leads to my last little tip before we talk about some places. the nature of your relationship really changed. now you are not married but it might not hurt with a counselor to talk about dealing with this phase of your life. not preaching here. tours of the various monument, the smithsonian, you can park right there and they have wheelchairs for you and all the smithsonian museum offer free wheelchairs. there are plenty of permit only parking right there. so don't rule that out. don't rule out getting in that wheelchair and continuing to live and see things. also, you said you go to the movies a little bit. don't rule out the movies. that's the wonderment of the movies. there is something always different. taking in a movie that you would not normally see. go to the art theater, the arty

movies and see one of those. challenge yourself in that way. concert, live venue. some of the best seats are wheelchair accessible. we are looking at a theater at arena stage. so walking with a cane should not be a hassle. how about a cooking class or art class. and that ceramic place, all fired up, accessible to folks who need to get in and out, move a little slower. you can bring your own food and wine while having dinner, painting or doing their pottery. if you know it, it's really fun. and take in a comedy show. you just sit there, nobody knows you have that cane. you sit there and taking in a show. >> and you said you like to go to different places to eat. how about making it more of a
