airplane as we speak so those are airplane noises. >> well, give us your overall impressions what it was like what the show was like. >> et was an awesome experience, it was so sad that whitney had to die less than 24 hours beforehand and so i didn't know how they were going to treat it, you know i was a little nervous that the whole show would be a little depressing but i thought it wasn't i thought, ll cool jay saying the prayer before the show starletted was an -- started was an amazing way to start it, jennifer hudson sent chills through my body she was the perfect person to do that, and the none anything is that -- the funny thing is that the place was silent they said there were 22,000 people in the staples center when jennifer hudson took the stage it was so silent i could hear the fans at the top of staples center blowing air down she was the

thank you very much we will see you when you get back here. >> i am looking for my seat right now i have to go. >> time to turn in your slippers come on back cinderella you look gorgeous in the picture. >> thank you. >> one of our producers here at fox 5 morning news. prosecutors and others will continue to build their case against george hughly he pleaded not guilty to the murder death of yeardly love. paul wagner is live in charlottesville. good morning paul what do we expect this week? >> reporter: well, good morning allison what we expect is probably the medical examiner who is going to take the stand and walk the jury through exactly how yardly love died i tell you it is speculation on our part because there is a gag order in place and we don't know exactly who is going to be taking the stand but there at the end of the prosecutions case i will just give you a

little insight, friday night we were ready to go live and one prosecutor walked up and we were talking about the restaurants here in charlottesville and i said when do you expect to wrap up he said there is a gag order, i can't tell you that. we do anticipate the medical examiner, probably dna expert, because in their opening statement to the jury the prosecution said dna is found under the fingernails of george hughly and finger nails of yeardly love there may be other medical experts as defense said allison, this is going to be a battle of medical science so it is very possible we are at the end of the prosecutions case here and then defense will start we know some members of the hughly family will testify and defense plans on calling as many as six doctors to the stand to testify really the

battle here is how did yeardly love die. p medical examiner says it was blunt force trauma to the head defense believes something else. we can't go without commenting on george hughly's appearance you talked about it originally seeing him walk into the courtroom there with the handcuffs and his appearance so greatly changed that is really jaw dropping paul. >> it really is and that -- i tried to explain that beginning of the week when i first saw him that he looked very different, very thin, looks like he has dropped 30 pounds, he looks like a senior in high school rather than a 24-year- old man when he was sitting there at the defense table friday afternoon weeping, as i mentioned there were jurors that were very effected by not only his appearance in the courtroom but how he looked in that video when he was talking to the police you could see the

tickets now other sites widely inflated prices i mean through the roof, how does that happen? how can that happen. >> it is not just this morning that you will see tickets on sale for madonna in fact i went on stub hub.com last night, tickets now.com and i saw 2,000 tickets for this show already available. >> specific tickets with seat numbers. >> these are often real tickets not fake a lot of tickets sold on sale to the public are sold, they are put on sale to the public after a number of tickets have already been reserved to be presold. >> yeah, because like if you are an american express customer city card you get presail situations. >> -- presale situations. >> a lot of time artist management buy up tickets themselves and sell them to these third party retail sites to get more money for tickets. >> wait, so for example, we don't have to name an artist but so an artist management

company will prebuy tickets, sell them at these inflated prices but do -- does the artist get that money? i thought the artist didn't get that extra money. >> a lot of times it is done so artists can get a piece that pie something stipulated in some artist contracts like katie perry her artist management has done that they say we reserve a right to buy some of these and sell them ourselves. >> one of the other reasons for the rising cost of tickets is because the secondary market has proved people are willing to pay some of these inflated prices. >> absolutely. >> now some artists will jack up the prices themselves well, we should be making that money as opposed to some middle man. >> well, some artists they prefer to see tickets are more transparently sold for example miley cyrus, bruce springsteen they have in the past used a

paperless ticketing service so the only person who purchases the ticket can go to the concert, so when you get to the door you are not presenting a paper ticket you are presenting photo id that is one way artists prevent this kind of thing from happening. >> are there ticket companies, like ticket master who has a monopoly. >> they are owned by live nation live nation owns ticket now >> crazy. >> so how do average people, regular folks, who you know want to try go to a show how do we even the playing field. >> well, one way some consumers can get cheaper tickets or at least, are more likely to get tickets is by joining a fan club if you are a madonna fan i recommend trying to join a madonna fan club a lot of times tickets go on sale earlier. >> i will say that because of my son i did join a fan club i will not say who, and it did help us get tickets in advance.

here is what i always hear scalpers continue to develop programs that allow them to go online immediately and buy most of the tickets. >> it does happen there was a $30 million case that took place a couple guys or a group of guys from california, called wise guy ticketing they made $30 million doing a bott to snatch up tickets on websites like ticket master. >> that would be a tip off it may be an unfair advantage wise guy ticketing. here is my question if we want to make this stop can we just stop buying tickets? >> i would say there would be a lot less incentive for scalpers if we stopped buying scalped tickets i don't know how many people are going to stop doing that though this is something very close to people's hearts their favorite group their favorite artist they will almost pay any price. >> well, my you know, i think we should stop buying tickets personally to try to make this better. >> ali with city paper thank
