carjacking turns out it was a different stolen escalade the suspect in that vehicle got out and with gun in hand ran across 295 he was eventually caught. some other top stories a scary weekened for local college students two georgetown students held up, during an armed robbery last night around 9:30 p.m., walking on n street area of 33rd street northwest, that is when two suspects approached them with a gun and stole their wallets and cell phones, police are still looking for the suspects. police are also investigating a sexual assault near georgetown campus it happened 2:15 a.m. sunday morning a student was sexually assaulted 36th street north of n street, they are asking anyone in the area at the time who may have noticed something suspicious to give them a call. >> crime also concern at university of maryland, a

female resident in cumberland hall woke up just before 4:00 a.m. sunday morning to find a stranger in her room touching her leg. police believe he was also trying to steal her laptop, other residents say they heard someone trying to unlock their doors during the night police are looking for the intruder and a second suspicious man spotted in the dorm. >> two prince georges county firefightersry main in critical but -- remain in critical but stable condition. they were inside a burning home when a torch of flames engulfed them now the families of both men are speaking out giving an update on their conditions. ethan has an intubation tube down his throat he has burn injuries from what i understand down to his lungs, um, his communication is by -- he is able to recognize who you

theft and tax charges from april 2007 to february 2009 thomas used his influence as city councilmember to steal money that was ear marked for the arts youth recreation and summer programs the money was funneled from the children and youth investment trust corporation to two entities thomas set up for personal use councilmember jim graham wants to hear from officials at that invested trust corporation about their checks and balances. how did this agency perform during this period of time what did they do what didn't they do what should they have done. graham says basic grant making procedures if in place should have caught this theft earlier. federal officials say thomas in their words began systematically stealing these funds almost immediately upon taking office tony. >> all right melanie thank you very much. and to the campaign trail
