welcome back: it is 7:30 now. i want to mention something very quickly about 45 minutes ago during today's and the weather guys we addressed the issue of why we all tend to wear the same colors on many, many days. it's a combination of -- coincidence. literally. you think it isn't but it really is often coincidence. there's a little bit of coordination in that. allison likes the wear certain colors on certain days. i'm aware of that. some others are and on some days we decide oh i'm going to try to match allison. but generally for the most part it's coincidence. today on purpose we all wore blue to be funny about it. everyone is wearing blue. julie, lauren demarco, and then we find out just a short time

in the early 2,000s when osama bin laden and the u.s. went there to go after him. when the u.s. went to iraq, to the iraq war, the taliban was allowed to regain its footing. since that time they knew the u.s. was going to come back after iraq and even during iraq for them. so what they did was they put some things in place. they have sleepers. simply put in many places. government offices, military operations and you see it all the time with what we call blue on blue attacks where people -- the trainers -- are actually killed by their trainees. and this is after these trainees have supposedly gained the trust of these people. of their trainers. so the taliban has been doing what -- what appears to be a very steady, smart, covert creep-up into positions of power within the afghan federal government and the military and
