mitt romney was the night's biggest winner this republican race for the white house is far from over. it was in fact a super tuesday for mitt romney he won 6 out of 10 contests virginia, vermont, idaho, alaska his home state of massachusetts and pulled out a nail biter of a win in ohio. >> november 6th we are going to stand united not only having won an election, but having saved a future. >> he is not there yet romney did solidify his lead in the romney race. santorum had a strong night winning tennessee, oklahoma, and north dakota. we are going to get at least a couple gold medals and a whole bunch of silver medals. newt gingrich won his home state of georgia. he said it is a start of a strong southern showing.

is he against romney but at that point it may be too late romney may have amassed so many delegates it becames a state of complete. but look it is america you are allowed to run as long as you want. difficulty in this race allison negatives for romney, continue to go up, and no candidate has been able to come back, from this. ifs like a black board where you write on the black board with each succeeding week it is hard to erase this stuff and you know continues to make gas continues to have problems. i heard your republican analyst last night on fox 5 say mitt romney is getting stronger with each passing week well, not according to the polls i see and you know, is this going to be a close election? absolutely is the economy going to be key? absolutely but mitt, this process is not doing mitt romney any favours. >> what happens to ron paul after super tuesday. >> ron paul is kind of dead in

terms of politically, i mean he didn't do very well except for virginia, where i think it was more of a protest vote because no one showed up in virginia, you know i had some folks e- mail me saying who am i going to vote for i can't vote for either one. everyone says vote for paul as a protest, paul gets out some point maybe not next week but fairly soon it is obvious there is no past publicity for him to get the nomination. >> let's talk about virginia only two people on the ballot there, ron paul and mitt romney how is virginia feeling how do they figure into super tuesday? >> there is a lot of anger virginia could have been a bit of a big deal in this race they only needed 10,000 signatures allison to get on the ballot and then they wanted to change the rules to put them on the ballot any way and that wasn't going to work, so you know, it hurts santorum and gingrich no question and the urn out showed it was -- turn out showed it

that strikes gay men i don't know why we are still thinking like this but we are what are the facts. >> definitely it is hitting gay men harder that is why we thing about it that way but in dc 5,000 women are hiv positive and of those 5,000, 90% are african american women. we've got to do something about it got to talk about it got to talk about it with our friends got to talk about it with our daughters our nieces our girlfriends our mothers it is just so important, it doesn't matter how old you are you can still get hiv we need to normalize it that is why we go to places like the grocery store if we don't make it normal then there is still a stigma people are afraid to talk about it like you said maybe it is just a gay population i don't need to talk about it but some say maybe it is just the african american population, latino population it is everybody. >> once again let's talk about the risk factors here we can't talk about that enough either

what are the main things we need to lookout for this disease is out there. what do we need to do. >> in women and girls it is heterosexual sex by far we talk about syringe sharing and injection drug use but it is heterosexual sex you need to talk about your partner there needs to be condom negotiation a lot of people don't want that conversation you need to know your status your partners status get tested at least once a year if not twice a year if you are hiv positive and you know that you need to be in care come to whitman walker, say i am hiv positive or red carpet and we can get you help. it is something about girls when we come out again, what information will be available saturday, especially if these girls are thinking of becoming sexually active. >> we will have female condom

been the catalyst for some of this revitalization >> it has we have been doing things here for some time every time we have come down it is like a construction zone even this morning we were like wow and people if they haven't been here in awhile this is a destination spot they need to come back. >> absolutely we have so much going on here atlas, 8th street playhouse and we've got countless new restaurants they keep opening up all the time just so much fun to watch. >> it is fun and helps. >> absolutely yeah. and we all work together down here not just a community within the building but outside the building. most of the restaurants on the street are participating in a promotion with us for the festival we all help each other out it is great. >> and the community grows bigger when you have groups like this come as i told you earlier they are based out of philadelphia i want to bring in brandon peace albright the founder, you all are amazing. >> thank you it is all about
