bigger each year, we've got fleshy root out growths that also store food, we've got corms this only lasts one year but by the end of the time this flowers it has produced another on top,. >> okay. >> then tubers like in the case of this begoanna which will also, this tuber will last for years you have to know what you are getting into. >> so you are saying, this doesn't look like a bulb but it is a bulb. >> it is a bulb in premise because it stores food for the following year you can see the new growth coming out what you want to do with daffodils, daffodils only last about a week when they are at their peak they are looking wonderful like that but they are not plants that rebloom throughout the season, when your daffodils start to look like this the biggest thing you want to do is dead head them remove the spent flower blossoms below where the seed would have formed and you

want to make sure that you tie -- do not tie them back like that i have seen recently, people are tieing their daffodils in a not like this, don't do that,. >> how should you do it. >> same as putting a string on your finger and tieing it tight you will cut off the circulation the plant needs to photo synthesize if you find this unruly lay it down in the landscape and plant something around it, now the other thing to think about is if you want a plant that is going to bloom continuously through the season there are different types of corms and tubers that will do that this begoanna will bloom all summer long so you can have a bulb and have continuous blooms but know what you are planting. >> right let me ask you when the lady brought this back really it is not going to stay like this all the time she just needed to know what to do when it is like this. >> that is why you should go to
