taking it, like if you took it three years ago, are you at risk? >> great question. for this particular medication, it's during the time that you take it and in fact, most of the deaths occurred between days 4 and 5 of therapy. normally it's a five day course of therapy. so that the risk occurs when you're taking it, it has an acute electrical effect on the heart. it prolongs what we call the qt interval, something we can measure on an electrocardiogram and it would have the effect then. once it's out of your system you're done. it's not like some of the other medications like the cox inhibitors in which it increases the risk of heart attacks. this is a different issue. people shouldn't throw their antibiotics down the toilet. talk to your physicians but if you're going to be given an antibiotic, be sure you need it, maybe question it and then for physicians out there, it just increases our awareness that we need to be much more careful with these medications as well as a lot of the medications that can interact together to cause the same electrical effect. >> and physicians need to ask their patients about the

8:47 am
you have here. >> she basically says you don't censor yourself. if you need to be censored they will do it for you. for me, i don't have much of a filter from here to here so it's a perfect spot for me. she is -- i mean, if you watch the show, she doesn't have much of a filter either. >> no. that's why i was surprised when you said censor because you all say whatever you want to say. >> whatever we want to say. that's the best part about it. and it's the only place that economics can do -- comics can do it on tv. my job is really to play practical jokes on people, something i get paid to do. that was one of the reasons they hired me on, they said do you mind just messing with people. and i'm saying no. we can put it on tv? and i said i've been doing it my whole life and not getting paid for it. do you know there are things you can buy online that you put under cars, they are jacks but with wheels and you can move people's cars? >> i did not know that, no.
8:48 am
>> you might find out later. >> are you pulling a joke right now outside the studio? >> we are going to be moving people's cars soon. >> are you really? >> yes. >> without them knowing, you go up to a car and move? >> the fact that you can buy them legally is amazing. we are going to put people's cars on lawns. going to be a good time. >> we can look forward to that on the show. great. you're on the road. now, this gig here in town, you're headlining, right? >> yes. >> because you also tour with a crew there from the show. >> yes. >> what's that like? you get to do whatever you want on the tv show. it's got to be even wilder, i would think on the road. >> way wilder. people say all the time you're much funnier live because we get to pick our topics live. i get to talk about what i want to talk about. when i travel with three people from the show, my liver can't handle that every weekend. you know what i mean?
8:49 am
i mean i need to reel it in ale little bit. come up on myself, eat some lettuce. flush it out. >> your career has been interesting because you've worked on a lot of projects that almost were, you know, tv shows that -- >> you're calling me an almost guy. >> no, no, no. >> you're saying you almost made it? is that what he's saying nicely? >> no. here's what's interesting about it because that's the norm in hollywood. people don't know that but most folks work on 10 projects that get developed, go to pilot stage, never get on tv or whatever it is. that's how a lot of people get a lot of work and experience which is what you got too. >> that's why most people say they came out of nowhere or this person just showed up on the scene when really we have been working for 10, 15 years. i've had three tv shows in development, i got another one at fox right now. i mean, they are all just like you just wait and fingers crossed. chelsea had three shows before this one. >> sure. >> that probably nobody heard of and all of a sudden they say
8:50 am
she came out of nowhere but she worked hard forever. >> you talk a lot about your kids. how many kids do you have? >> that i claim? >> that you claim. that you're aware of. >> that share my last name? that i currently give money to? i mean so many different categories. i've got one in particular that is really right now the bane of my existence. >> really? >> he's like -- you know, i may have started having sex at a young age and because of that, i have a teenager and he is now officially doing things to me that i did to my father. here's the conversation i had with him. i said, hey, man, did you know that vodka doesn't freeze? he's like i didn't know that. i go did you know that water does? he goes yes, i did know that. i said why did you put water in my vodka bottle and put it back in the freezer? you've got to be more creative than that. >> good. that's good. i like that.
8:51 am
>> yeah. he is the bane of my existence right now. >> i'm sure he is. josh, it was great having you here. thank you for coming here. >> thank you. >> he is at the riot at at comedy theater this weekend and tonight. some tickets still available, right? >> yes. are we going to sell the fragrance. >> we will market it. the same thing that sells cars. >> two for one. >> i get the message. it's thrown out already. thanks for smelling my feet, josh. holly morris is at the pimlico racetrack as they get ready for the 137th preakness stakes on saturday. >> reporter: good morning. it's an exciting race come tomorrow, at least exciting if this guy has to do about it. if there's one person you want to talk to athe this -- talk to at this track, bob baffert is it. he is the trainer for bodemeister, who is the first. how are you feeling? >> i had a little bit of -- i had a few stints put in me but
8:52 am
actually doing very well and i feel normal and back to a normal routine. >> reporter: hearts pounding well, heart will be pounding come tomorrow, i'm sure during the race. >> always. >> reporter: you know, you've won this race five times, three derbies, a belmont, but there's got to be something special when you have a horse as a contender that's named after your son. >> it brings a lot of excitement and bodie, who is 7 years old, you know, he's really enjoying it, he's just getting to that age where he understands that, you know, if the horse loses, he feels the pressure, and so he's been very -- ever since the horse won the arkansas derby, he's felt a little bit of pressure like he's afraid the horse is going to get beat and he was disappointed when he lost the kentucky derby, so i feel a little bit of added pressure. >> reporter: do you call him bodemeister, your son? >> yeah, most of my brothers, they call him the bodemeister. so that's how the name came
8:53 am
about. it's something that the owner occupant, he had changed the name. it had some other name that it was a ridiculous name. >> reporter: bodemeister fits and -- >> it was grame and spike. it was named after a dog. i told him i'll call him bodemeister until you change. name and then he named him bodemeister and i go why did you name him after my son. sometimes it's a jinx. >> reporter: coming in second in the derby is not a bad thing. you are the odds on favorite. are you looking to go wire to wire when you're talking with my jockey mike smith? what is the plan here? >> on paper he looks like, you know, he's going to be the speed and so he's -- you know, he has to break well and if you can get him, you know, cruising -- high cruising speed so
8:54 am
hopefully he doesn't go as fast as he did in the derby. >> some people might say you own this race, you got five preakness titles. what is your secret? >> my secret is those horses were very, very good horses, they were the best horses and that's why they won and, you know, three of them won the kentucky derby, the other two didn't run well in the derby, but they bounced out of it really well. so -- but, you know, it's -- the cream always rises to the top and i think the kentucky derby winner is a very good horse and he's going to be tough to beat. >> reporter: and every year obviously there's so much anticipation in hopes of there maybe being a triple crown winner. two questions for you in that regard. it's been 34 years since we've had one. do you think that it is ever going to happen again? -- like i'll have another, if he pulled this off, i think he's got the -- you know, the distance.
8:55 am
he doesn't have distance limitations. he could keep on going. and my horse, he's, you know, after he runs here, i might get off at this bus stop and go home. >> you're hoping it will be 35 years, right, until there's another triple crown? is it good for the sport for there to be a triple crown winner or better for the sport to remain illusive? >> i think it's good for belmont to have it because it really fills up the stands and those people, they have been just showing up every time for a triple crown and every time i left, though, i think i felt worse than the fans because i felt like i let them down. we went through it three times. i think it's good for new york and belmont, people love to see history being made, so it's good for any sport. >> reporter: hopefully your horse will enter the history books tomorrow as the winner of the preakness. myfoxdc.com is our website. we have a link to pimlico so you can find out more how everything is working come
