us earlier over the phone saying he has nothing quote but tremendous respect for president sullivan and doesn't understand why people are upset. >> my goal is to numb per one meet with -- number one meet with as many people as i can. i want to hear their concerns everything on their mind and then try to move through this try to heal as much as i possibly can be, problems and risk created and then frankly -- rifts created and then frankly i need everybody to pull together and help me move the university forward. >> since it was made public the board ousted theresa sullivan faculty and students have been rallying around here a large crowd gathered on campus yesterday as she headed in to address the board privately, and defend her two year tenure. in a public statement sullivan said we are all aware uva needs change and there are financial challenges she said

she was working to lay ground work for greater change but she was described as an incrementalist she said that does not mean i lack vision. university of virginia, rector, spoke about the board's decision at a special meeting. >> this board has never, or will we ever, direct particular programs or courses be eliminated or reduced these matters belong to faculty. simply put, we want the university to be a leader in fulfilling its mission not a follower. >> she expressed regret not for removing sullivan but for how the transition was executed, faculty leaders at uva are calling for her to resign. according to washington post, theresa sullivan would receive her presidential compensation package and in thatsettlement she could return to teaching sociology at the

school. the interim president does not want the job permanently so they will still have to search for another candidate. new this morning vouchers are coming back to dc schools, the white house and top lawmakers are agreeing to reauthorize the district's controversial coucher program for private school and agreed to open up the program to new and existing students with no cap onenrolment. house speaker boehner and lieberman announced yesterday. mayor grey opposed the program but said he will implement it right away. >> also new, a five car crash, sends at least three people to local hospitals it happened early this morning, near the intersection of rhode island avenue and south dakota avenue, northeast. at least one victim was transported in critical condition we are told. no word on the current conditions of the other drivers or passengers involved. attorneys for jerry sandusky could rest their case as soon as tomorrow that means jury deliberations in the sex abuse trial could begin as soon

as thursday. yesterday, jurors heard testimony from the former penn state assistant football coaches colleagues, one former coworker says he knew sandusky took boys into showers but never saw him do anything wrong. there is still no word when or if sandusky will take the stand in his own defense. justice department struck out again trying to prosecution roger clemens for -- prosecute roger clemens for purgery. he was found not guilty on all six charges he lied to congress in 2008 in an emotional address outside the court, clemens called the acquitle the biggest win of his life. >> all you media guys that know me and followed my career i put a lot of hard work into that career, and so again i appreciate my teammates that came in, and all the e-mails and phone calls. >> federal retrial lasted 10 weeks the u.s. attorneys office put out a statement after the

verdict saying quote, the jury has spoken and we thank them for their service. time is running out for louden county to decide whether to invest big money to bring the silver line farther out west construction of the new silver line to dulles international airport is moving along but louden county officials are still debating how to pay for $270 million. overall the price tag is expected to be $1.2 billion, over 30 years. elected leaders met again last night, they have until july 4th, to make a decision. metro plans to use old existing rail cars, when the new silver line opens, that is because there is a delay with the production of new trains, and the new facility designed to test them. the test track facility near the green belt rail yard isn't expected to be finished until march 2014 several months after the first leg of the silver line opens. the train production delay is due in part to last year's

who he is dating. that is a sign of the times and all music suffered as a whole it is hard to listen to music. you don't hear about the topics it is like everything is great life is perfect you know hip hop was something, it was a counter culture meant to say things that are not on the radio you know, so i think it will come back after awhile. >> it was a counter culture but are you surprised by the dominance of hip hop culture and how it has spread, i mean you know, it is in the suburbhas been there a long time now, and it is influenced everything. to me, -- yeah, i think to me hip hop was the second emergence of rock and roll when it first hit black people made rock and roll, white kids love it but there was a force to stop it. the second time it came around white kids got hold of it they love it like i am saying the fedex man will come and his hat will be turned a little to the side that's hip hop. everywhere everybody has a little hip hop slang i mean if
