the same area as yesterday but on i-95, and yes, involving a a motorcycle. that is northbound i-95, had been shutdown for almost an hour before your commute to quantico. now you will find the accident i activity confined to the rightt shoulder, so our lanes are open but big tie-ups northbound on i-95, from 6:30 courthouse road all cou the way toward stafford headed toward quantico.qu traffic on i-95 will slow as you continue through wood bridge and approaching the springfield interchange. not a good ride at all onl on northbound i-95 where traffic is gridlocked continuing towardowad quantico and coming slow acrossc the curve.e a lot of bail out traffic on route 1 as folks try to use that as a work around. continuing north out of stafford, heave volume there as well. let's show you what else is on n the roads. metro rail is having trouble this morning, they're single sig tracking because of a crack on the metro red line between

settled on and that is still stl keeping his eye on the economy.. we've seen tax revenues nearly $600 billion gotten back in thee early part of the year. year. we see this conflict in syria that has to be addressed and iss being addressed. addre mopping other items includinging the sequester and other mattersa so that hopefully we can keep the momentum, at least domestically that is createdcred 2.5 million jobs over his tenure over 38 months, so that we can n see a recovery thattistic that h unemployment at 7.5.at 7. lcan get it down, do if we can deal with sequesterese issue down to 7% if not further. i think we're off to a gooda start on the anchors are being put in place and the bearings br noted so that he can guide usgu through the next three years. >> jim?

>> i think if you see any of the press reports of the press conference yesterday, if youy, watched any of the presss conference, quite frankly, theft president was on the defensive.s at one point he had to say i'm ' still relevant.st when the president starts toil a things like that, you know, thaw maybe he is not as relevant asrs he thinks he is. i think the bar was raised a little bit. the expectation the press, atprt least coming out of campaign isa that he was going to do all oflf these things, get all of these things passed and none of it has happened. and there's an awful lot of blame. there's blaming congress forss this and that and anything else he had the red line in the sandd in syria but now the red line is not quite as defined as it would be. he needs to back off on that. t. he has backed off on immigratiot reform. you know, the sequester, congress, he blamed congress for something and has donedone something. >> he called them prettypretty dysfunctional. >> he called them dysfunctionala put on the on the other hand, they functioned and got got

something done to give the president some flexibility so we don't continue to see the faa fa having problems and all the furloughs. so you know, all the press pr reports including, you know, a , lot of mainstream places like li time magazine were saying thee president is kind leading from behind. not exactly the best performanc for a guy after the first 100100 days. >> reporter: kaiser, youyou know, take that for what it is, put a poll out and said that the popularity, the healthcare reform law is down to 30% now, and there's syria and the red rd line. what does need to happen, david, i will ask you for the president in the second term to make some things happen?en? >> well, in reference to thethe kaiser family poll, we also also should note that repeal or the desire to repeal obama care hasa gone way down from the height back a year to two years ago. that is for a second, and in in that poll, you're looking at at obama care or healthcare

overall. and if you look at the popularlar benefits, if you look at those e that with preexisting condition can now get healthcare. if you look at maybe the familyy with the father who is unemployed, the student, and the son just graduating from highfr school and going into college, and looking at what he may havey to take on there. the fact that they can still keep that son on theirtheir healthcare is something thatthat came from obama care. there's a lot of fine policy poy that has already been in effect what is affecting the poll alsol is why you see it almost staticc from three years ago in terms of its popularity is that you don't have the exchanges that are ar being set up for 2014 where people will be enrolled in healthcare affecting tens oftino millions of people, and i think as you see that furtherher implementation, you will also ao see the poll numbers going, wheh people are actually benefiting the healthcare bill affordable

saw an increase of people going to the er because of adverse complications frnch sleep medications. >>? >> yes. that's a huge increase in numbers. >> it's a large increase and a it's one of reasons it was an alarming fact.al we decided it's time to put a report out on it. >> is the reason people are going to emergency rooms because they areoo takingms the wrong dosage, they are mixing it witht other medicines or alcoholoho perhaps or a combination of com things. >> all of the above. one of things we find specialfully older adults and females the f.d.a. hasas recommended that the dosages be cut in half and in some of the research we did not related to this report found it's not always happening. we see about 32% of older adults 65 and older are among the population ending up in the er room. over two-thirds, 68% of the women are ending up in the er in

the report. >> is one of problems that t people for some reason feel likk sleep medications particularlyis over the counter it's not that serious. we kind of self medicate ourselves saying it didn't work last night i'll take two tonight. >> there's a lot more going on with prescription drugs in general. specific to this, you see this is a -- there are chronic health issues related to sleep disorders. when prescribed and monitored they can be enormously helpfulol drugs. the trouble is each person is individual.in what is seens a normal dose dos isn't. what is more concerning is that 50% of the people in the er also had other drugs such as prescription narcotics, antidepressant med caitionz andi another 10% taking it with w alcohol. when you mix the drugs together kit be a dangerous combination
