it might sound counter intuitivi but it's about moving people not just cars. if you've ever been on a congested road like new l hampshire avenue and route 29 in the mornz, you know it's imp imp possible to everyone's car through. if they are able to have a fast reliable alternative in traffic they are likely to take it. it only takes a small number of people making the switch from cars to transit. >> okay. paula, you say this, say safetys concern among other things. what do you think about this plan. >> well, of the course, we're not opposed to public transit. everyone understand what's is going on ndin montgomery countyr the area. what we're opposed to is the secret behind the scenes deals d that have been cut and the way that this process has occurred. and there's two key points. one is at the very beginning. why the decision to have bus rapid transit which doesn't d include renewable resources. there was no public discussion

with google cars, signalization, smart signalization these days, personal electric vehicles. why the decision was need haveha buses and the second point att which there was no public inl put was why these particular roads that cram all the bus routes down county into underserved areas and lower l income avoiding the wealthier parent parts of county. we're concerned that there was no public input at all to this.t there were secret deals that we're seeing e-mails now that show in this has been done. there's the issue of safety that the bus routes will be taken away the medians. er in dedicated lanes ant pedestrian refugeees that we us and that our children use to cross the streets will be gone. there will be right of way that is taken. that in many cases or in some cases can take people's property. they'll ll have to be the bus stations at every mile and in some cases every half mile

>> it's interesting because when christie whit came out he had lap band surgery done it came out about different forms off surge rix the lap band is considered the least invasive. after having this procedure done in february governor christie has lost 40 pounds or so which is pretty impressive. he wants to lose more than 100. he is doing well so far. he said he hardly thinks about eelting anymore. gas trick bypass offers the most dramatic weight loss and it's more invasive. the lapband what they do is goo in and put a plastic band arouno the top of your stomach. it creates your -- it turns your stomach really into a pouch maybe the size of a golf ball or ping pong ball. it creates a little passage where the food can get through slow lily. what happens is sometimes it's not as restrictive.ve. sometimes there's risk of infection and sometimes theyomet have go in and tighten the
