map. matt mckinney took this pan owe ramic in vir virp. you can see the state white house there and a similar sky there in annapolis and chris i believe sent this gorgeous picture it says via philly luc luckyer sunset he called it thinking powerball would come in our direction. i said who wants to play the powerball when you get this for free. it's absolutely beautiful. we would be happy to win the powerball. another cold night rolling into town. already in the teens in many areas. the good news a lot of sunshine tomorrow and deck of clouds come again through later tonight and they should be around until the morning and then departing for more sunshine. but, best news of all it's going to be about 10 to 15 warmer than today. what about rain or anything else for the weekend? right now we have clouds with some rain and showers returning friday. i think that will be late friday maybe after 7 or 8:00.
10:50 pm
so that's what's up next the next two days look dry. and the next two days look warmer than this. this is coldest day we had so far this season and at reagan national 32. lots of places didn't get to the freezing mark today. we're already down to 19 gaithersburg and mannasas and 26 d.c. and i think temperatures won't get a lot colder than this because we should have a few more clouds coming in and maybe that southwest breeze that should help us out a little bit. scattered clouds in the forecast coming back in tonigh tonight. unfortunately a lot of us headed into the teens and 20s. prepare for that cold start in the morning and what you will not have to deal with tomorrow morning is a big win. pickup temperatures in the morning 19 to 26 and after school though a much more reasonable 42 to 48 and it will be nice and bright. we had a few hours of clear skies and which is why temperatures gotten cold. one little disturbance rolling through not with any snow showers but cloud cover and change in wind direction. that means by the time we get
10:51 pm
to 8:00 in the morning we may be able to see temperatures little more reasonable perhaps in upper 20s to near 30 according to future cast. by 1bg we're backing into the 40s. that will feel a lot better. mannasas you may be up to 4. fredericksburg 506789 and by the time we get to 4, 5:00 we head back down then and more comfortable evening commute and no big win and no flurries to deal w tonight i think we have to go with 22 for the district is it doesn't get colder than that we have clouds coming in later and then again, starting out with a few clouds in the morning and brightening up during the day and getting right back up to 46 maybe each 47 and thanks to high pressure off the coast, that's going to give us more of that southwest breeze and it warms us up. again a little rain in the forecast. that will be late in the day from this system and another one that will develop at the koxingt between the two, and by the way, normally when we see a low pressure at the coast like this we would think whoa that's a snow scenario the cold air is not available and this will be rain and clear out on saturday.
10:52 pm
looks like it could be rather substantial rain as well. i wanted to show you future and by substantial i think more to the south and east. we're dry tomorrow. lot of sunshine. you can watch that system starting to approach that will be late in the day friday and that's heavy rain for central virginia and around the tide water area. we are wrapping you up with the "fox5" av 7 day forecast and we want to talk about the weather and rain out early saturday and possibility of snow showers sunday. you may hear buzz about that. one of the models thought the system may be able to work in colder air and give us more snow than that. right now it's staying a little too far south. so kind of close call that we'll keep an eye on maybe passing showers like we had yesterday on sunday. we'll keep an eye on that. next week starts out cold. these things happen. >> millennials are generation of americans between the ages of 20 and 34 and their
