new england, northeast and down to the mid atlantic and what looks like rain along the coast. as with any big storm there is a rain-snow line and where that is going to be we don't know. this storm is still out in the pacific ocean. what the scenario looks like now, very cold air blocking high pressure across the central part of the country which is a favorable set up for us to have a storm system that will ride up along the east coast and bring us those nor easter conditions. right now in the beginning stages, we are looking at the potential for some very heavy snow in the mountains that would go up through pennsylvania in the northeast. a very unsteady rain-snow line right now, meaning someone will see some mix at some point, someone will see just rain and that usually favors areas along the coast. so right now plenty of questions but the potential is definitely there, a high potential of a strong storm that we will be following all week long as we head towards friday and saturday so stick with us here at fox 5.
