the platform was more crowded than it usually is. trains are running late becauset of the snow. he says as he looked out the windows from the car he saw just a string of the teen acres, the majority of them governing off but things in just seconds turned violent. i can see myself here walking away just as the attack happens on the passenger behind me. > this witness was just feet away from yet another metro mob attack. this time surveillance video shows a group of up to 30 juveniles storm passengers getting off a redline train at gallery place chinatown metro at the height of the morning rush wednesday. they shoved him to the ground and five or sixteen agers are ae were kicking him and punching him in the face. > they're just on delay, moveu it, get off the train, on delay, move. > what appeared to have started as random year and heckling very

stops from where we're standings tonight they're all looking at felony assault charges. reporting live in northwest washington, d.c., marina maracco, fox5 local news.ews. > and by the way we learned about another incident thathe happened on metro this afternoon. the spokesperson says a group of teens threw a snow balance at aa man at judiciary square. officers tracked the teen at gallery place metro stop.o s the victim wasn't seriously hurt and police eventually let the teens go. i'm sarah simmons here in northwest where it seems like aa gift from the city. if you are parked along one of these snow emergency routes last friday during the blizzard, guess what, you don't have to pay for it. d.c. mayor muriel bowser is voiding all tickets issued last friday from snow emergency routes. in a bizarre twist there are a some people we talked to who who weren't very happy about it. this all happened last week. w the snow started falling. city residents were told to movv their cars on thursday. it went into affect friday

morning. the mayor says she understands many people may not have known v about the retrickses and were out running errands to prepare for the storm. she says the ticket dismiss alice one small way the district can help people recover from the storm. the fine is not small. it's a $250 ticket. t > a lot of people say the isn't. >> it made our lives miserable s because it took us a lot longer to get the roads cleared. so i think it's a wrong decision to refund. > if it's a across the boardrd automatic and it's just a goodwill token to the people of the city, a lot of people suffered, then okay. o they can afford it. not to be public enemy one, but i think for a municipality that doesn't have state taxes i think that money could go into a lot for a district in itself. i don't think it's a good idea. > and to his point that money

i heard a couple people at alexandria wanted to do that, t the fist over the weekend. finally our post -- > i will give a lot of, you know, no fives. it is very frustrating when people are out there the onn roads and you have the four lanes, six lanes and you only get two, one on each side. s the ' kind of hard to get by, b the crews are doing their best b and we certainly appreciate it. it's frustrating. especially when you're sitting in traffic and you only go three miles. >> our neighborhood usually do a better job than that. last night when i got home there were a lot of bulldozers and i was like, oh, no, i hope i can c get in. i was so glad to see them. by wednesday of next week i have a feeling most of this is going to be gone. g the problem is it's going to rain and probably be # 5.

fox5. a renowned top chef and local restaurant owner announced today he is suing his landlord for for racial discrimination. fox5's emily miller has the story. >>reporter: we grill out burgess and we have a secret rub that i use. td burgess, he was a contestant on the seventh season on top chef.chef his d.c. restaurant is in an area that says is being century phid and he says his landlord is trying to kick him out to appease white renters who are afraid of blacks. woman in and have a burger like everyone else is doing. it started back in 2010 and he a signed a 1046 year lease that allowed him to have live entertainment. so he started a jazz night on thursdays from 7 to 10:00 p.m. >> he was making about $20,000 a month from it. he says in the lawsuit that thee
