in fairfax county after a dog fell into the nice a lake. it happened lake threaux in rest tin. how firefighters managed to get this dog for sure, sarah. >> one of the fair favrm county firefighters on that call shot this cellphone video here of the rescue. crews got the 911 call before 9 this morning and it's amaying how quickly they were able to get there and rescue that dog who was expected to be okay thankfully. let's take a hosier look at the rescue now clearly the dog distressed there as you can see. firefighters and paramedics put on ice commander suits for protection and they were able to full the dog from the water in under ten minutes. and firefighters say the poor guy t had pause on ice cling-on with body in the water when they arrived and one of the paramedics explain the water was thick and murky making it a challenge but this is what they train for all the
