minutes worth of an altercationn and the video is only five minutes long.nute now, witnesses do believe that police used excessive force. however, police say they arrested several individuals who were in ruly as well as aggressive. so several of them police saying attacked their officers, including a sergeant. a hard blow by a d.c. police officer in front of a rowdy crowd, one of the first incidents caught on cellphone video that merely caused a melee on this adams morgan sidewalk early sunday morning.sund >> there was a lot of fright. roma beer recollect it owns the 18th street club heaven and hell along with the next store columbia station. he was a little bit drunk. for nearly two hours he stayed e in this fenced in area. eventually a second man who witnesses say knew him approached.

this video that's when police showed up. police say the man lying on theh ground was upset that someone, quote, schmoozed his face whilew officers investigated the police report states a second man m became aggressive and assaultedders.as >> it was a big crowd of maybe 300 people out here in thein t middle of the street. witnesses say things quickly escalated. maybe 50 cops claim rushing rus around and before i know it, i i looked to the left, it was a cop that had his gun pointed towards two guys. police had choke holds, not really beating them as far as with watts or night sticks. > but cellphone video clearly shows an officer deploy a baton causing some of the crowd to react. >> i never seen like that where customer

front royal and also just around the d.c. corridor we're seeing just a few showers movinging through. the frontal system has moved its way to the south now and we're gradually to see these showers start to taper off especially when we get to the overnight hours. so we'll get a little bit more of a dryer situation happening.g our highs today, not quite where they were yesterday, low 60s for d.c. and elsewhere they were in the upper 60s. we actually hit 67-degrees at dulles and at bwi thurgood marshal. but today a little cooler. temperatures still very comfortable and very mild with the mid to upper 50s every where. right now it's 48-degrees right here in the nation's capital. a few light showers moving through. winds are very light from the northeast at about 8 miles an hour. elsewhere in our neighborhoods we've got temperatures into the 40s, 46-degrees at dulles, 45 at gaithersburg, 53 athers fredericksburg to the south, 41 at hagerstown and 43-degrees at frederick. so 39-degrees your officer night low. still dealing with

showers, but they'll end soon and your full forecast soon. > back to fredericks where a frightening attack is under investigation in mount vernon. a man broke into a woman and sexually assaulted a woman who was asleep inside. alexandra limon is life with the investigation and the suspects, police are looking for right now. >>reporter: guys, what scared me about all this, isn't just't the fact that there was a sexual assault here in this apartment complex on blacks inship street, but also the fairfax county police say the suspect got awaya and is still on the lose.e. it was around 3 in the morning saturday a 51 year old woman was in her apartment sleeping when she was awakened by an intruder who threatened and then sexually assaulted her. then he took off. i kind of feel my heart is with her. fairfax county police say the woman wasol taken to the hospitl and

neighborhood by ground and air with a police helicopter. but they had no luck spotting or arresting her attacker. neighbors say the news of the sexual assault is frightening as well as surprising because they normally feel very save living here. we never have things like thatht happen here. it's a little terrifying just to hear that when somebody had to deal with something like that, to that extreme. for the most part, yes, i feel like it's a pretty savesave community. it's unfortunate that that would happen to anybody. > now, at this point police objection to the form have a very vague description of that suspect, but they say they are working on a composite sketch and they could have that ready as soon as tomorrow. t once it is ready they plan to print it onto flyers and a distribute those in this general ar b

60s and the upper 60s, but it bt still wasn't all bad. right now, comfortable outside. we've got 48 at d.c., 47 at baltimore. a little cooler at frederick at 39-degrees this hour.r. 4 # at hagerstown. winchester at 45.t 46 at dulles and 50-degrees at quantico. there's been a difference in our winds as well. we've had the southerly flowerly which really helped to warm us up. now we're dealing with a nice warm flow.low. in the overnight hours i can't rule out a little bit of batch i fog. our overnight lowe's 39 at d.c.d 36 at dulles, 33 at martinsburg and at hagerstown and 32 at frederick. so a little cooler more to the north.h. this rim of high pressure builds in for monday and this is going to also give us some dryer air. we're also going to see some cooler air.ol but we're keeping an eye on two systems and we're really watching that cold air because of these two systems. the first one here to the south is going to move

right now, it looks like areas to our far northwest could see at the beginning of this as it i starts to move through on tuesday a little bit of a wintry mix. i can't rule that out, especially in the hire elevations in our suburbs to the northwest. otherwise it looks like we're going to have enough warmer air that won't have to deal with tow much in terms of winter precipitation else r. but it looks like primarily it's going to be pretty much a rain event. we would see some gusty windsom with the next system and alsolso some rain showers that are goine to be pretty heavy in nature and that's this one here. h by the time this one gets up it looks like the cold air will be out of the way. when we get to the wednesday the period between the two systems i can't rule out a rumble of thunder or two. so just be prepared. tuesday, the heavy rainfalll continues to move its way allay the way through. we're not going to get much of f break by then.k by so keep the umbrella handy. here is a look at the
