its final report. fox5's marina maracco is life now with the outcome and what it all means. marina? >>reporter: hey there, guys,s, the report is 50 pages long, but it comes nearly a month later than prince george's county public school board said theyard would give it to the public. finally, this report revealing some ofç what's happened behind closed doors during this nearly three-month period and in this report it makes clear that traii was not only quote, vague and unclear, but outdated given current day understanding of predatory sexual abuse of children. school volunteer deon take youou carraway to this day remains behind bars for charges of child pornography and child seven abuse after being arrested back in early february.ebru the task force says it was notot their job to investigate carraway despite this caseespi having forced the creation of o the task force in the firsthe place and the omissions in this report are very blatant. in this report

a single mention of deon take you carraway. there's also no mention of deono take you carraway while he was a volunteer either protocol orr simply obliged by it becausecaus that protocol was not in place to begin. among the standouts from the findings here was that there war not a single interview with a parent, with a forme student or current student or even withor e form error current employees. instead, the county chose to do an online survey entering this nearly three-month process thatt it took the county to finally print out this report. they put that on line survey foy ten days on their website. now, the school district currently facing a complaint bya several parents who say that prince george's county schoolcon board did this report all behind closed doors and there was nevee a single public session meetingi to address any of the findings or what they were willing to do and n

the school board now saying that they were hoping that the people that were providing guidance would respond to them in a candid manner and that's whyhat' they chose to do what they did. it was heinous. it was awful. it was terrible. it shouldn't have happened, but i have 200 some other schoolsote where it did not happen. so again when we're talkingking about the difference between systemic and non systemic we had a problem and we know that wehat need to do better going forward. the first thing you have toave understand is what the charge of the task force was and it wast not to investigate the carrawayw situation. so that's the first thing is to understand the charge that wehat were given. we were given a charge to look forward in terms of what the school system might do, could do and would do. all 50 pages there were a series of considerations, 60 the total number, but only five recommendations that were made by the task force and the mainhe one that stands out is that they recommend the office no

monitoring accountability, compliance to be formed in order to follow these guidelines andad to every so often refresh thosee guidelines so that they don'they become outdated like they had id the prior. now, in the past rather. r we spoke with several parents who declined on camera interviews. they're saying that right now they're part of a large classlas action lawsuit against thegai district and that's why they can't speak. but they said that this says too little and it came too late. tony. marina, a question for you, was there anything in the report that if followed could have prevented the incident witht detake you carraway or wouldor have prevented other incidents like this from occurring. >> when i saturday down with carraway in jail back in february after his arrest he said several things that stoodtd out. among them he said he was only assigned to the school two days a week and yet on some occasions he would come to the schoolhool nearly every single day of the week. he also said that he went with

> new tonight, a prince william county man is recovering after he was bitten by a raccoon during memorial weekend. it happened on saturday during the 4500 victory place. that's just one mile from where a dog was attacked by a raccoona the attack was completely unprovoked. he was bitten several times. even lost a portion of his finger. i was just sitting here like woe what a nice day and he came up and just went wham, right there. literally. he didn't bite me hard like he did here, but when i reached down like that he got me good. the only way i could get him off wasç to get down on the floor with him you can see where the scuff marks are and he wouldn'td let go. yikes, he about it him on the leg, too. he was celebrating his 53rdis 5 birthday when he was bitten. animal control officers say they have not been able to find a raccoon, but a trap
