this book a good month for murder the you think they revealed details abouthe the killing of amber stanley never publicly disclosed. amber was standing just inside of the front door of her home when the gunman shot her wouldns you be in the arm then followed her to her room where he shot her dead t days after murder mur police never disclosed amber came face-to-face with the kill her orb her foster sister was assaulted days before and was the intended target. detectives came to the conclusion the masked gunman wan out for her foster sister. the police viewed a threat she wrote on facebook and learned the girl had recently been sexual assaulted the threat wasa aimed at her attack consider detective now had a theory. he had come back to the house he looking for the foster sister but found amber instead. ins detective then began months of

interviewing dozens of people.e. some who became prime suspect.. until dna evidence pointed to a man who had not been questioned before.re >> we brought somebody in and interviewed that person. that perp is currently incarcerated on other criminal charges not associated with this case. him.e still looking into this is still an active case. obviously no arrest have been made its an active and open case. we are still looking at that person and seeing if he has involvement in this murder. thi >> reporter: would you call this person a suspect?pe >> deaf it inly call him a a suspect in this case. but we, at this point, do not, d have enough to charge him. but it's somebody we looking into very strongly. >> reporter: the dna evidence came from blood found on the shirt of the foster sister, according to information in the book. and according to the account int the book, she fought with the man during the attack and botho were k police are now in a very unusual situation in that a good dealing of evidence that that normally would not be
