morning. the clock is ticking more metro riders.rs phase two of the safetrackaf program begins tomorrow and thit is the first major shut down. d. passengers on the orange and a blue and silver lines will feell the biggest impact.. fox5 jennifer davis live withh potomac metro station withtionih details on this.ta a lot of preparation for ridersr and everybody involved. >> reporter: yes, they really yr hope that riders are making a plan for next week. w so this morning we've been allvl over. we started in rosslyn. rsl then we were at stadium armory.r now we're at the potomac avenuee station. these are the three stationsee s some of the three that will bee most impacted in this next lethl of the surge. surge the truth is it's going to beoig widespread in terms of therms oe impact. 70,000 riders are affected. aec if you look at the folks down od the platform here potomac avenue these people and many others oer need to make new plan for monday. this is one of the station thatt is will shut down beginning bini tomorrow running through throu july 3rd part of the safetrack t surge number two. two take look at a graphic that you can see.casee. orange, blue and silver line

laundry, spending time with herr trying to play games and just help her use what knowledge and memory she still had as long asa she had it.t. i mean die what i felt i neededn to do for my mom, because she gave up so much for me when ie w was growing up that i was moree than happy to give up what i wha needed to for her when she nee needed it. it was really hard at first, because i would get frustratedrt with her when she would ask mesk the same question over and over again, and i it took me a really long time to understand -- toan- get to a place where i knew ine wasn't frustrated or upset withw her. i was upset with alzheimer's. the woman that i care for nowow isn't my mom.. she isn't the woman i would staa all night -

talking to and ask advice and -- and it's heartbreaking becausegc she looks like her.e h she looks like my mom and like should be able to tell her everything and she's just not there. i know it's going to get harder. i literally have nightmaresigmae about the day where she looks as me and doesn't know who i am. young people my age need to realize that even if you're notn directly impacted right now, you will be whether it's a grandnd parent or parent or a neighbor,o a family friend, if you're not impacted now, at the rate thatat this disease is growing, youwing will be. be it's inevitable.. and we have to do something setg about it now.
